My K/D ratio thanks players like you.

If you're a white dot without a colored outline, you're a hostile.

Welcome to Grand Theft Auto.

I love dickheads like you online, i try to only kill players with a bounty and get annoyed when other players target me simply because LOL GTA GUNS KILL so when somebody does i make it my personal mission in life to ensure they rage quit. The other day i was online and taking a casual drive down by Vespucci beach when two guys in the same crew decided i was a healthy target and sticky bombed my car before speeding off in some chrome Adder probably to find somebody else to kill, unknown to them i'm f*cking sh*thot with the sniper rifle so as soon as i respawned i targeted the fastly disapearing Adder and put my first bullet straight through the drivers head followed quickly was the passengers execution. Quickly i rang Lester and had him remove my map marker and made my way to a vantage point, i wait for my marker to re apear and unleash another round of sniper shots dispatching them both as quickly as they spawned. Long story short i'd killed both guys for a good 15 minutes without them even hitting me with a shot, then as one of my crew members joined the game i noticed the original sticky bomb killer left followed by his mate. Pussies.

Today I was playing on a public session driving around in my brand new Strech limo I bought online. all of a sudden, another player came racing down the street in a chrome cheetah ( which looks ugly btw), threw a sticky bomb on my limo and blew up me and my car. After that incident, another player came up to me in a rhino tank and killed me with the canon, but thanks to R*s crappy spawn system, the tank spawn killed me 14 times in a row until I finally quit the server. I will never understand why these types of players enjoy senselessly killing other players for no reason, is it because they want to be a "troll" like their favorite youtubers, or do they think that they are tough and cool by blowing up every players personal vehicles?

I suspect low intelligence levels, inbreeding and smaller than average appendages to be root causes.

Black & White

So you are calling people ass**** cause you can't defend youself in GTA V? lel.

Who is the real ass**** here?

You have a point. GTA V is about killing and stuff like that. At the same time, people can be douche bags and ruin the fun. There are more douche bags in GTA V than there was in GTA IV. That's probably because some Xbox fans transferred to the PS3 console.

The type of console is irrelevant but by your logic you could say some PS fans transferred to Xbox.

I think it's more indicitive of todays youth and their sense of selfish entitlement.

Misanthrope Z

R* needs to patch all the 7-year-olds.

it's one thing to play with an immature 20-30 year old E-banger, or some skinny highschooler that feels too safe behind his controller, but i'm sick of playing with the squeeker squad.

i always get weirded the f*ck out, when i hear someone who hasn't even hit puberty yet, droppin f-bombs and swearing up and down that he stuck his underaged penis in your mom.

Complaining for being playerkilled on GTA Online?

Kid, you weren't living in North on FOnline 2238!

Well ... I don't mindlessly slaughter everything, sure. I'll put up a fight (albeit a bad one) if need be but ... I don't tend to play online much. I don't have time.

@ OriginalCharacter - I agree. I don't think I've actually come across any players over the age of 12 yet. Makes me feel old. And you're right, it's unnerving - these kids aren't even old enough to understand half the things they're saying or experiencing.

We didn't behave like that when I was 12. We didn't have GTA when I was 12. We didn't have the internet when I was 12.

We had GTA and the Internet, but I guess online play wasn't ... really a thing, at least not on consoles. I don't know if it's an age thing (because I know I did some stupid things when I was 12), but kids around that age just seem really, really disrespectful and spoiled, now.

Yes. Exactly that. And I say this as someone with a 12-year-old sister, who doesn't understand the concept of having to earn a living, respecting what you have because more often than not, you can't afford the nice things on an average wage. Nothing is ever enough for them - all the gadgets and clothing and money and they just want more. And when someone calls them out on their behaviour? They usually end up on the receiving end of a stream of abuse.

Haha, don't worry about it. I've been a grumpy old gal since I turned 18!

You see it in the missions, no idea of how to work as a team.

I just tried to do, Base Invaders with 3 other players. One of the easiest missions there is if you approach in the right way. I've done it a few times by myself. The first time, I was stranded at the airfield and the other three managed to screw-up the mission, the 2nd time I abandonned them and was going to do it myself but thought why should they benefit from my efforts so I jumped out of Rons plane mid-flight, the third time they went in all guns blazing and guess what? Failed so I quit before I spawn killed these idiots. And people wonder why I roll by myself as much as possible?!

This is my method, avoid people at all costs, I try to keep away from people, if they become hostile and kill me for no reason... they wish they didn't, I blow their car up (I don't care I can afford it) I spawn kill them and grief kill them repeatedly, I'll even call in a tank and only use it to kill them. Or better yet go in passive mode and stand on a ledge, their thick skulls are unable to comprehend why they cannot kill me as they waste ammo and money.

Unless they have a bounty or are my mates, I never kill anyone else ever. Call my methods cheap and childish but after that, everyone in the server avoids me usually and doesn't come close,

I'm sane. At least until someone starts messing with me. If someone puts a nonsense bounty on my head, I message low level players to have them collect it. I just like to play around like in GTA4.

Yeah that Mission is easy once you work it out.

You playing public / Invite Sessions / Solo?

I play Invite Sessions and so far they players have been RP matched, well kinda averaged out...

I am level 70 at the moment and been playing missions with players ranging from RP Level 40 to 99.

At least these players have an idea of what is going on and usually are players who are serious.

First i tried to get an Asea as personal vehicle, but when i was hiding from the cops a douchebag killed me. when i found another, They destroyed my personal vehicle again when i didn't have a garage yet. But then i changed from a Huntley to a Penumbra, which is better and i now have a garage and no money because of the garage.

Even SA-MP or MTA is full of deathmatching maniacs. COD and GTA is a different thing, don't destroy all my stuff when i just do my goddamn business.

Honestly, i play GTA Online for the missions only, not the races or other stuff, but the Gerald, Ron and other boss kinda missions. i also only play them solo(for that classic GTA Mission feel) or with my PSN Friends, and i always do hard mode for the extra points to quickly get new missions. Getting at rank 120(The last Rank that gives you something)will be boring but there will be no chance for me though to get that far because i rarely play GTA Online.

. . .

I would tend to agree w/ your observation BUT some very intelligent people act very, very stupidly under certain circumstances, BUT I wont rule out the likelihood of (mentally & socially) prepubescent persons reigning in calamity just for the sake of it.

Yes a game where ultimately you have weapons and everyone is pretty much free game, you will have people exploiting that opportunity, right?! Does it make for ideal game play if your current interest is NOT in "blowing up", "shooting everything in sight", no, people are going to behave how they want and behind the "internet" its so easy for people to behave recklessly, especially in a game where pretty-much anything goes, right?!

For the OP and those that are like-minded, maybe the thing NOT-to-do is to let it *bother* you. Rather, as the old idiom states "it's time to kick a$$ and take names". xD

As someone who doesn't play online very often (I'm a level 19 noob, I guess, according to the modders and illigitimate money makers), so yeah...I try not to engage anyone, but there's always those doucheknockers who just play to troll others. VERY annoying. Especially when you're trying to do something, like deliver a car that Simeon wants, and some jackwagons are sitting at Simeon's garage where you deliver it, just waiting to blow you up.

you guys talk about "the way its meant to be played" like it was set in stone

could someone post a link to where it says shooting players is only for missions

and not for freeroam?

unless you just expect everyone else to have to play by your rules that you made up yourself to suit yourself?

yes its a pain to be randomly shot up (even more so when you as a team just finished a mission or a round of golf) but unless rockstar say otherwise thats how its meant to be played... unless there's a bitch button that no one told me about

(and by bitch i'm not calling you guys bitches much but more like bitch and moan i.e. "rockstar the mean man keeps shooting me")

Freeroam is a sh*thole. If someone does not kill you in the first split second after they get close enough, the ironic alternative scenario is that you stare at each other for about 2 seconds, and then one or the other gets shot.

So tonight, after getting killed within 60 seconds in each of three successive public sessions in the space of 5 minutes, I dropped into a 4th session and was driving on my way to do something, when I saw a white dot coming after me. Expecting the usual drive-by sticky bomb, I quickly assumed one of my defenses for revenge kills and spawnkills, which is to stop my car and take cover behind it, AP Pistol at the ready.

So the guy drove up and stopped and I decided that I wasn't going to get raped again so soon (since the 99% scenario is that a sticky bomb would be coming within one more second), so without provocation, I emptied the AP clip into him, then I took off at high speed. After noticing that he wasn't chasing me like the usual revenge killer, I stopped and took a look a the player list and saw he was only a level 3. Then I felt really bad about ambushing him, and texted a sorry message.

In an earlier session, on the garage TV, I saw a level 5 player having fun learning how to jump his BMX in the Vespucci Beach skate park. That lasted for about 5 minutes before one of the assholes in the session came by to surpise-kill him and then start spawnkilling him, including riddling the kid with bullets in a cramped space between two buildings as he desperately tried to run away. The kid left the session, with another great impression formed of the typical GTA0 community.

What I am seeing now, as I drive around, expecting to be killed for no reason except for some little prick's K/D ratio, is that there is a growing population of white dots out there that actually turn away and drive a couple blocks down, to avoid having to pass me on the street. This is coincident with the larger number of new players who have come in to GTA0. It's not me, it's the online community of assholes. The new players are living in fear, broke, with crappy weapons and crappy armor, and fresh meat for every K/D turd in f*cking GTA0. This is supposed to be a game; it's supposed to be fun. But assholes have ruined it for everybody. And I am talking about the assholes who "play the game the way it's meant to be played," killing everything in sight. Again and again. Brainless, gutless sh*ts.

I leveled up mostly in solo sessions, knowing what a load of sh*t GTA IV multiplayer was. But here we have a new generation, naively coming into what is supposed to be the premiere experience, the bold new direction in online gaming, and what they find is just a brainless killing spree.

I play 100% legit but sorry to say I do kill every f*ck I come accross (or at least i try to) unless they are friends, or friends of friends or crew members, everyone else is freegame.

I find it funny that after they did this, they get pissed off and whines when you retaliated.

Even whined when you actually shoot first before they can.

someone shot you down and you can just fight back

some guy kill me 12 times last night and I kill him 9 times, we even add friends after this last death (which is really silly I will say..)

this is part of the fun of GTAO, you can start I invote only game to avoid this, that's what I do everyday

I start a invite only season, do some car hunt and simon stuff, and some mission, when I am bored, so switch to public lobby and find someone to shot with.

I'm a "normal" player I guess. On one hand, this is GTA and the point is really to cause as much havoc as possible. Whenever I play, I just cruise around or do missions for the most part. At least once per session I get killed by some Christmas noob or troll thinking they're just going to get an easy kill and that I'll runaway or something.

I'll generally start off by putting a bounty on them so I can find them easier. Once I find them I simply keep killing them until they runaway or duck into their apartments or just leave the session. It's quite amusing afterwards when I get a message like "why u keep f*cking wit me?" At which point I reply "leave bitch or imma take the tank out for its daily exercise"

Back on topic, if wanna play missions and such I'm always down for that. PSN: h1r0l3r if you wanna play normally.

Everytime i get on GTA:O i do the same thing ive been doing for about 2 weeks. Grab a Helicopter and fly to a rooftop downtown and practice my sniper shots on players. I'll only kill them once or twice however. My favorite shots are the ones in a random group at LSC. I'll shoot one and the victim turns around and starts "revenge" killing everyone around him/her until he figures out the names don't match, but by then he/she pissed off his victims already and the server erupts in chaos as everyone desends on the 4 white dots in one area.
