My race positions are not reflecting correctly

Hi

 

Couple of times now I came in a certain position in a race but when the pop up appears it shows a different position.

 

For instance, a bike race I came in 2nd according to my position indicator in the bottom right of the screen yet the message says I came 4th.

 

Just did a car one now where I came 3rd according to the indicator, which is correct I was actually 3rd but it showed I came 6th.

 

Am I missing something?

never had this happen but I do notice that in a lot of races the pop ups on the left keep saying I'm overtaking people and sh*t the entire time while clearly nothing has changed

even get RP for it and everything

my best geuss would be this is just lag or something and in your case this just happened right on the finish line or something

Ahh that's a pity. I'm on a 4mb line and don't experience much lag on my side, if any.

 

I'm trying t get my upgrades done and I see I have to race against other players and win which is kinda hard when they use custom vehicles.

 

And if I host a race (tried criminal records), it wont let me change any of those options, not even laps so im pretty much screwed at this point.
