Mathew4296
I love GTA V to pieces, but it just doesn't feel complete. The PS2 era of GTA games felt like they were complete, especially San Andreas. I personally believe it is because back then, Rockstar would have devoted all their time to single player without the need to develop an online mode. It's not just GTA either, it's a lot of games. I can understand first person shooters and racing games having online, I enjoy them a lot. But a game like GTA was built on single player, and now that is being taken away. Give it a couple of years, and there will be no games released with any depth aside from mindless levelling up and deathmatches with no purpose other than to cater for braindead idiots. Stupid kids with no imagination who don't appreciate single player are mostly to blame, as well as all the CODfags and such. Just imagine if the 5 years GTA V was in development was spent solely on an amazing single player. If the story had been fully fleshed out, relationships that weren't rushed etc. UltraGizmo64, visionist, FirstLadyofGTA and 2 others
Tashan
I totally agree but it's set in stone, online is the future. Don't you think GTAO has begun that path more clear and visible for us to understand? If the PC game also suffers from the same limitations as now then it's pretty safe to say Rockstar has made the choice. It's Confirmed.
Teo265
I agree with you. When I first got my hands on IV, I was really happy with it, the console version wasn't as hyped as V has been, and I got it for PC after waiting quite painlessly. (Never bought IV for console) V was so hyped, that I had to buy it for PS3 after my PC's power source blew up one day. After playing it for a while, I felt that it was missing something. I didn't know what exactly, but something. First I noticed the small fact that I can't leave the engine running while exiting the vehicle, can't understand why it was taken away, especially after putting some effort to gas station robberies being a function. I can't even keep the escape vehicle ready up and running I'm not saying that Online ruined V, but it has definitely limited it's success. SP could have been better, if they wouldn't concentrate on Online so hard. The development could have gone further than this. I totally agree but it's set in stone, online is the future.Don't you think GTAO has begun that path more clear and visible for us to understand? If the PC game also suffers from the same limitations as now then it's pretty safe to say Rockstar has made the choice. It's Confirmed. How come Online is the future? GTA has always centered around SP and it's purposed to be so. Online feels like the future nobody was asking for... zakace
I loved the V single player but I enjoy going online more because theres only so much you can do in single player whereas online you have so many more options when there are more of you. blakeney
woggleman
They should have companies do online separately and make it all a digital download that you get a free code for when you buy the game so there is more disk space. bish0p2004

If the story had been fully fleshed out, relationships that weren't rushed etc. No way was there 5 years of development. Rockstar North worked on at least 3 games in between, as well as the 4 GTA4 expansions. We are looking at about 1 year of development on top of a incremental refinement of the RAGE engine. It is obvious they missed deadline on this and cut content (the whole CnC, CTF, Heists set of gameplay) ... presumably to complete story mode. They were just too ambitious for their available time. But I agree with other comments about multiplayer - love it for FPS or sports games ... not convinced yet for GTA but this is also clearly a baby step on the path to a GTA MMO world ... so it's kind of online beta until either GTAv expansions for PS4/XB1
Wylight
I totally agree, I don't play GTA O. because is just HALF-ASSED, no animals, barely any cars or peds and I have to play as an ugly, stinky-ass character which doesn't speak at all nor has any personality. If online gaming is the future, then I'll simply QUIT gaming

That's actually a very good idea.
ChillerVapes
I think I would stop playing if everything was online. Online is good for buying things from other countries, porn and talking to loved ones over seas. Everything else is either over rated, not needed or simply ruined from what was once something good.
