universetwisters
Isn't the "Driver" series owned by atari or something like that? I don't think conversions from other games are allowed here, but I could be wrong.

RacingFreak
Yes, DRIV3R is a game made by Reflections (now UbiSoft Reflections). Both the GTA and Driver series have things against, for example Tanner in GTA III is a pun on Tanner from Driver 2, and DRIV3R has Timmy Vermicelli. However, I personally don't think DRIV3R models suit GTAIII, nor fit the atmosphere

The HUD mods are allowed due to them actually being coded and hand-made by the modders. Where as the RAGE conversions (IV/EFLC to SA/VC) aren't allowed technically, they are allowed to be shown here, but they're not allowed to be released here. I think you're misunderstanding what I said: I don't think conversions from other games are allowed here Key word being "other games", so conversions from one GTA game to another is fine (to my understanding), but from a non rockstar (or take-two game) to GTA isn't allowed
Carface80
From the actual GTAforums rules. [4.5.4] Models that require permission from a corporate entity, like EA Games, are NOT allowed for conversions (with the R* exception listed above). Failure to meet the above criteria will result in, at minimum, a locked topic and verbal warning. universetwisters and savidge
riquenunes
DRIV3R is a 9 years old game. I don't think anyone even cares that their models are being used in another game. It's not like it's gonna hurt their sales or anything. Edited December 2, 2013 by riquenunes

It's not like it's gonna hurt their sales or anything. It's still the rules, apparently. I know record companies still come after you if you download one of their songs that's over 9 years old.
