Why are people so impatient for heists?

Tymaster if they are THAT fickle the heists will only prolong the inevitable for a extra couple weeks...I assume they are the ones that are like "Oh they haven't added heists so Ima use dat as an excuse to grief people."

well you can either kill people in free roam, try something original which will last you all of 2 minutes, or grind missions with 2k payouts until you have enough to buy yourself a car but not mod it. Heists NEED to have a decent payout. Nobody is saying they should be able to buy 2 adders from one heist, just something that doesn't leave you broke when you factor in ammo and stuff.

Lol, what's really sad is that they're probably going to be boring/generic as hell and have dirt-mound payouts. I hope to God that R* proves me wrong, but I have my doubts.

I'm not impatient, I just want something new to do online. I love GTA, but there will come a time when I think "Damn, this is so tedious now".

 

And I fear that time may be a matter of weeks. :-(

so maybe 4 heists to buy a fully modded supercar, top apartment and every weapon ... and given the heists will be 20-30 minutes max, you can buy everything in 2 hours of gameplay ... makes sense for sure

Please let's be realistic these Heists will NOT shower us in millions of dollars, like every other activity in GTAO the payout will not be worth the time and/or effort required to pull them off.

 

They will be linear. They will be simplistic. They will have limited scope for creativity. They will be glorified missions with payouts similar to Survival (provided these are not nerfed). They will not live up to the hype.

 

If you are bored now the heists will not transform the game for you. I hope I'm wrong but looking at the way this has played out over the past 2 months...

I reckon heists will be limited as to how often you can do them, yet people are still going on about them like they will suddenly make the game interesting again.

 

They won't.

 

Once you've done the heists and they are on cooldown, its back to the same nerfed mediocrity that we've been enduring for weeks. And the heists won't even pay particularly well neither. Why would Rockstar make them pay any more than the lowest value cash cards?
