Why are people so impatient for heists?

For all we know they might not come until next year, given how complex it would be to develop for Online since there are no voices for characters. If you want heists go play SP or play Payday 1/2.

Because Online is getting boring... all me and my friends do is f*ck around, run over pedestrians and sometimes get an armored car if we spot one...

Heist online might last 8 minutes or less.

Plus online players will be uncooperative and using more words in a fit of anger.

Why not play another game? I played The Last Of Us for 3 hours straight yesterday and that relieved me of my boredom.

It's not really that people are impatient, more that this was a feature that a lot of people were looking for. When we were promised that GTA V would revolve around heists a lot of people were left in disappointment, especially since single player only had around 3-5 actual bank heists. So afterwards we were all left to think that it was a multiplayer feature, and that we would be able to use it as many times as we want Online.

A month passed, and Online lacked the feature, another month passed and nothing. Now we're at December and still nothing.

I'm not one to complain and I've never made a thread about "bring heists now!" or anything like that, but it's been 3 months after launch and Online isn't really much of what we all expected. (Only an enhanced version of GTA IV freemode)

This. It would take a lot of time to make a perfect heist experience.

Because peoples don't have enought of the hundreds of missions, activities and possibilities. They want millions of dollars, an entire completely detailed and explorable solar system and godlike powers like Impotent Rage.

Talking of armoured trucks - I found an easy way of turning one over.

Shoot the driver with an AP, run round and then shoot the back.

Job done in less than 30 secs.

Because Rule #1 is people will never be satisfied. I'd rather them take their damn time and increase the the chance of releasing quality material than rush something just to shut us up.

I just wait till they stop at lights....I'm always on my bike, and I dont think it'd stop it if they drove off :)

if you block they stop for like 20 seconds, enough time.

Or you can just sticky bomb them...they drive off while the cash lays on the road waiting for you.

OT: If it happens it happens, it'd be awesome but i'm not getting hyped until there's something to hype.

"Why are people so impatient for heists?"

Because it might be an indication that GTAV / GTA0 might be an actual game, rather than just a beautiful virtual world populated by psychic police and psychotic white dots. :p

I still don't understand why people don't accept that Rockstar is working on heists (hopefully) and can't be bothered to wait for it.

Heists are scripted over the top crap... no liberty in how you execute them other than the 2 options lester gives you.... you dont get to scout out your own target, just follow lester's sh*t... you should of had to find that construction hole in the union depository.... anyways

L haigh... try getting a good crew who takes their time on missions... play on hard with free aim... but make sure you have good people playing with you... plan that sh*t out... who goes where who does what.... Where the extraction point is... makes missions way fun.

The majority of people I've seen that are raging about heists are griefers who are getting bored of griefing.

This of course is just what I've seen, it doesn't encompass all of them without a doubt but..it might.

Sounds like a good time, unfortunately it's damn near impossible for most of my crew members to be competent. I had a crew with some of my personal friends but then Battlefield 4 came out.

order a meal, pay up front, get some bread while you wait for your meal to be delivered

6 hours later

I'm tired of waiting for content to be put in which was promised at release. Personally I don't believe there are 'hundreds' of missions as I have done every single 'mission' available, the phone always sends me repeats. They should have added more jobs from the contacts in your phone with the Beach Bum DLC, that's what I thought they were going to do anyway, I was very disappointed with this DLC, giving us poor weapons which I don't use, a few more deathmatches and a new survival.. Why not any jobs from Gerald, Martin or Trevor? I don't think it's too much to ask to throw in a few more of these while they work on heists to keep us busy, I appreciate that these things take time.. But this is a bit too long without stuff to keep players entertained. None of my friends play much anymore so that also drags fun out of it for me.

Can heists really be that hard for them to create? They're not much different from normal missions except that you get a choice of how to complete it. After that it's still a case of go here, do that, etc.

GRINCH ASS BITCH

Lol, what's really sad is that they're probably going to be boring/generic as hell and have dirt-mound payouts. I hope to God that R* proves me wrong, but I have my doubts.

If they don't have decent pay outs I swear to god I will...probably come to the forums and bitch about it. :(

the heists are the last thing standing between a wall of people and other games. Everyone wants to give this game a chance but it is just too damn boring to be sustained for longer than a few months lol. You either glitched and have all the money you'll ever need, or play legit and can't find two dimes to scrape together.

Tymaster if they are THAT fickle the heists will only prolong the inevitable for a extra couple weeks...I assume they are the ones that are like "Oh they haven't added heists so Ima use dat as an excuse to grief people."

what will constitute decent payout? realistically some people aren't going to be happy unless they can buy everything after 1 job.

glitchers who were doing it before the payout nerfs already proved they don't want to play the game even with decent payouts, not saying i agree with it after either but 1-2k mission are almost pointless to play and profit from.
