The ghettos should feel scary and make you afraid to drive down Davis St. So I've constructed a list of my ideas for the ghettos of GTA V! *A lot of my research is from GTAO, I know a lot of us play GTAO than single player* *My First Thread so dont yell at me if its the wrong category * 1.) Lets start with gang members. Gang members aren't interactive enough. When i walk down Davis St dressed in all green. I want a balla talk trash to my face. Maybe a push or two. Then he would try to fight me. Not gun me down in my place. A huge crowd would gather around and watch this "fight" or some ballas would join in and jump me. Same when i walk down GSF territories. When i walk down in a business suit, Same thing. 2.) Ballas Vs Families Vs Vagos anyone? I want to see driveby's like in the screenshots. Like in san Andreas's opening missions. Walk ups. And other gang members fighting for street cred. The ghettos need to be alive for all us GTASA lovers. 3.) Vehicles, Mostly low riders. Especially in Vagos hood's. 4.) And for the love of god, Bring back home invasions. Breaking into a gang members house when they're away, and robbing them blind *Bonus Topic* Please, Bring back the hydraulics and speaker upgrades back. When i sit in my car. Music blasting. Crime is at an all time low in LA County and gangs are still there but wearing a color aint gonna get you shot no more. There are low riders but with all the traffic and cops around they are pretty rare. Certain parts of L.A (yes, Compton being one of them) were like that. Its still a gangland sh*thole only now its alittle more low key due to the elevated police presence. Sure, the buildings are more run down and there aren't any sports cars driving around, but where is the tight knit feel of the cul-de-sacs of San Andreas? I loved that; driving under the overpass into a group of houses that seemed like had been there forever with the same people living in them? That was so cool to me. The gang persona is more of a backdrop and nod to Compton/watts hoods. Now I'm from northern California so what I know about these areas is what I here in music and TV so I can't really comment on the actual gang life in modern times. Now anybody that lives there knows that the whole city gets more ghetto every year. But the neighborhood i live in. We have schools/houses/stores that get broken into. We have gangs throwing up flags and signs and spray painting walls and such. And the area i live in is predominantly Hispanics/AfricanAmerican. Since i am hispanic i grew up watching people doing what they do. Im in high school and ive seen fights/Gangs/sketchy cars/Tweakers/drugs and such. Living in a state where the crime rate is soaring. (well the venice beach part was more like malibu) and I felt more unsafe on venice beach than Lakewood, right next to compton. I heard people all night in Lakewood, but they didnt seem worried about us... the bums on venice on the other hand.... f*cken if this game is missing something it is that... Second, i wasn't talking specifically about LA ghetto's I'm talking about ghettos in general, which are still dangerous/still have shootings/fights/etc. BUT every time some one posts a topic about this, a whole bunch of idiots come in and say sh*t like durr hurr ghettos don't have gangs any more or why does all these white boys want a ghetto gang fantasy.
