Whats the difference in driving stat?

I wonder what is the difference between full and empty driving stat?

Because the driving is arcady anyway.. right?

I haven't noticed major difference in driving stats, however each charcater starts out with a different driving stat.
For the sake of my analysis, Trevor's base stat is low, Micheal's is middle and Franklin's is high.

 

I noticed that Trevor, having a lower driving skill is less responsive to rapid, speed driving. This is compared to Franklin who has a high driving stat and is used to these situations.
I can't really point out anything abstract in Michael but being middle ground, he would be neutral.

 

Other than the differences between the protags, there is nothing major in the driving stat

You spin out of control more often when you have a low driving stat and fly out of your window frequently, among many things.

driving stats mean nothing... same with flying stat, planes and helis would wooble just as much if you have 100% skill.

The driving stat improves your air control and ability to perform wheelies.

High flying stat reduces overall turbulence and automatically adjusts your path if you do experience turbulence, and makes takeoff and landing slightly easier. You notice a huge difference between Trevor who starts out with high flying experience, and Franklin who has almost no flying.
