What, if anything, offends you about GTA?

Is there anything in the game that personally offends you for any reason? Just curious.

 

Maybe it's the use of "n word," maybe it's the torture scene, maybe it's the reward for touching the strippers, the naked cannibals, or maybe nothing. Is there anything that crosses a line for you?

nah i'm pretty numb to it by now, i actually feel kinda cheated now a days if a white sounding ragekid with a texas accent is not yelling the n word

I don't mind the single player dialogue, but I get pretty annoyed by kids on the Internet shouting the n-word. It seems to be one of about five words they know.

It's online gaming. Nothing is "across-the-line" and at this point nothing offends me. I've heard it all over the years.

 

As far as the "n-word" goes.... It gets repeated non-stop by black kids (and adults) more than anything. If it's so hurtful and disrespectful, they should stop using it 4 times in each sentence.

yea i usually keep chat on crew + friends except thers 5 seconds you can hear someone after a kill. i guess R* thinks that moment for smack talk to be neat, was annoyed at 1rst by it. i'm used to it now because pvp a lot

Torture was obviously to desensitize people to it, that said, I cringed mainly because I get sick when thinking about innerds and stuff.. offended however, no.

I know that GTA is all about satire and stuff, but it irks me to no end that transgendered people's only representation is football players in dresses.

I saw CNN covering a story just a night or 2 ago about some girls who were "psychologically tortured" by their parents, they were locked in their rooms and had to use the closet as a washroom, were forced to listen to white noise and loud music, songs played over eachother.. their parents would watch from video cameras.

 

All I could think of was A kinda exactly like they do in Guantanamo and B I wonder where they got the idea /sarcasm

I had to look it up. Hopefully those sh*theads get some cell block justice. The other inmates aren't going to like their story too much.

I recommend just muting the f*cks who annoy you instead of going straight to crew and friends. You might miss out on meeting some other genuinely cool players, and when you do tell them to mute the assholes too.

if I was gay the npcs running around yelling sh**d*ck all the time might offend me . It's a game. Only thing in a game that mildly offended me was DA2 when Anders wouldn't stop hitting on my male character and got pissed when I told him to stop.
