How many characters you USE?

I can't make a poll with my phone but as the subject says, how many characters do you (and would you) use? One or two and if two, how many would you likely actually use if we had all five open?

 

Myself, I really have no interest in 2 characters. Even in games with really diverse character types I choose carefully first then try out the others just to taste them. I really don't see the point in multiple characters when there's nothing different between them.

I use two.....Just to help increase my cash flow.......I am not that good at any of the shooting missions, so i Racing is about all i do and the payouts now suck, so i use my 2nd one to grab a car and sell it every 45 minutes and if Simeon has a vehicle request i will fill it .....Deposit the money and then return to my main character.......if all 5 were usable i would use them also

 

I only have a 6 car garage for my second one.....and it is the cheapest one

is there a reason why people use a garage for their secondary? is there a way to transfer cars between characters or something?

I have two, but I primarily only play my first. I've probably played the second one for about 2 hours tops.

I have 2 characters. My main is at rank 65 my second is 6 I don't have time to play much due to a wife and kids and now the rp has been nerfed so much I can't be bothered to struggle to rank up my second.

 

Plus I tend to free roam a fair bit and to be honest it's quite boring with a low level character. No car mods, Lester, weapons etc etc.

2nd character is usefull as you can sell a car with your 2nd character after you sell one with your 1st character as they have different timers...thats an extra 9K per 45 mins. but I stopped using my legit account and only using my other account with glitched money,

Two. One is level 62 and other is 28. The 62 I glitched to make money, while the 28 I played legit. And they were both around level 20 but then once I had 10 mil the game became too much fun and was no reason to go back!

 

If you choose todo this, do not bank your money! Or it will be shared and your legit character will no long be legit.

yeah man I got two, one's 46 and the other is 44, made the 2nd one mainly coz my first was a chick and I wanted a Tailgater + more cars

 

I don't think I'd use any more slots, maybe just for testing or something

I have two, but never use the second. I made the second to glitch a Cargobob in the garage but I now already have one in the Pegasus of my first character.

 

I'll probably start using the second character again once GTAO introduces buying properties that generate income. That way I can buy all possible properties, then keep buying them on the other character to maximize income.

Two and I use them both regularly. My first character is rank 98 (Male) and I started my second character when my first was level 90. My second (Female) character is currently rank 34. I haven't used any glitches so the extra money coming from the second character doing missions for the first time helps a little.

 

Unlocked all Car mods (aside 100% Armour) on first character with the following vehicles.

 

Tailgater

Entity

Infernus

Vacca

Akuma

Sultan RS

Carbonizzare

Elegy

Ocelot F620 (not upgraded yet)

Gauntlet

 

Second character I need 15 more wins for all unlocks but all are upgraded as much as poss

 

Tailgater (kept it from the first race may sell it tbh)

Hexer

Sentinel XS (not upgraded yet)

Ocelot F620

 

So yea I use the second character for different cars etc. The Akuma is on both as this is my ride of choice for races and missions.

 

Would probably have three characters if the third was opened up. Doubt i'd use 5.

I have two, one male, one female(both ranked in the 90's). I swap between them regularly, it just keeps things interesting....different car choices, different apartment views etc.

I use two that I have leap frogged since day one. One is lvl 70 the other 71 at the moment. I enjoy RP and character development so it's been fun. I have other characters in mind and have been waiting for the next three slots to unlock. I'm beginning to get the feeling they may not be character slots in the same sense as the first two though.

I have 9 over 5 accounts. Gonna make a 10th tonight. Main is over 100 another is 20 and rest 8 to 9 level character. All but 2 got to play with stimulus money.

First character is a man. Level 199. Garage full of suped up cars (the best for racing in each category). But I only do freeroam with him for now.

Second is a super cute woman. Level 65. Space in garage to put some Ballers for selling later. With her I do missions, survivals, parachuting, and no-custom races.

i use 3. my main is a paranoid sociopath that cares about his kdr. my alt is the same except she doesnt care about kdr. my 3rd character is a good guy who tries to make peace with ppl tho i haven't started him yet.

Problem is ... you only have one kdr stat for all your characters.

By good and bad I mean, my 2nd Alt lost some contraband in the last garage wipe.

She still has the Asea, F. Buff, and S. Dock.

But she lost the Tow Truck, Police Tansport, and Riot Van.

Never used the TT to freeze any consoles or anything, it was just a gift from a nice duper from these forums.

The worst thing she has ever done was to accept those 6 dupes.

My 1st character is 119 and my my 2nd is 51. The only reason I made a 2nd was because my first character morphed into a tranny after a cloud outage.

I do enjoy the 20 car garage space now. Tho 20 cars is still not enough..

6 across three accounts, 2 males and 4 females

 

4 (one rank 350+, two 250+, one below 100 coz it's new) + other 2 that I use very little. 

 

I use multiple characters because I like to roleplay, I buy different vehicles/properties and I do different activities, this way every characters and gameplay feel different.

I have two, but not on the same platform. I migrated my main character from the XBOX One version to the XBOX Series X version, but I found that the Open Wheel race lobbies, which are probably what I do most, were virtually empty.

 

I started again on XBOX One with a new character just for the purposes of racing, but I have enjoyed playing through again and ranking up so I have spent a fair bit of time back on the XBOX One version. I flip between them.

I can't imagine roleplaying this game with anybody but my first day 2020 character. I'm very fond of him. 

 

However I have no intention to buy a new console just for the only video game I play, so I'll wait to the last day to migrate my character to current Gen. 

 

If by then there's no cheap new Xbox available maybe I'll make a new character to old gen... if the online game still exists.
