Guide for driving the Obey 9F

After having the 9F as my go to car and my primary racer for a while now, I have decided to post a guide with tips on how to handle this beauty. I have seen some people criticize the tail happy 9F. So my tips are:

1. When turning corners at speed, hit brakes first before turning the stick. Turning only the stick without braking first or accelerating through the turn will make the tail pop out.(though fun for drifting)

2. On more dull corners, accelerate though the turn to keep your grip

3. Then on full speed tracks like route 68, turning the stick all the way left or right may cause you to lose grip, so make small minute adjustments every time by tapping the stick to the left or right repeatedly so the car can establish traction every time you release the stick.

Hopefully others will post tips for driving other cars as well. Tell me if these helped if you tried them please. Thanks.

1. Go to travel and transport on your in game internet.

2. Select legendary motor sports.

3.Buy a grotti carbonizzare.

4. A message will come up "your garage is currently full, please select a vehicle to replace". Select obey 9f.

Tips on driving the Surfer Van:

1. Chill out. Like, way out.
2. Avoid places where other players dwell.
3. Enjoy the gorgeous landscape of the game.
4. Chill out some more. Like, way out more.
5. Find a secluded beach just around sunset, park, and take a nap.

Yes, there are players who, like me, just enjoy the full ambient experience of the game. Try it once in a while. Cheers. ;)

Some cars just spin out on turns easily.... The easy way to not spin out is.

Use breaks, don't full throttle on turns until you are going in the direction you plan on going. Always flutter the gas to on turns to prevent spinning out.

Yeah I know. Had the carbon first and hated the steering at first so started saving for the 9f. By the time I had enough id gotten so used to the carbo that The 9f feels wrong to me. I'm the weird one not the op. I got the cabrio, is the steering any different on the standard?

Anyway nice work op. I'll try your tips.

lol I was thinking the same thing.

The Carbonizzare has absolutely no traction for me. That thing could spin out on a flat, straight road with no bumps. And don't even think about taking it off road.

My advice is to buy a Rapid GT. I destroy pretty much every race that isn't a straight line with it (provided I don't get taken out by a pit maneuver, that is). That thing can take turns at ridiculously high speeds, and the grip is as tight as I ever ever seen on a Sport or Super in this game. It's just absurd some of the maneuvers I have kept my grip with (or despite, in the case of what should have been mistakes). Even with the turbo and a maxed out engine it still retains its traction.

Infernus has to be the most unforgiving car. If your tail starts slipping you are done, just except the fact I guess

9f and carbo are totally different. I prefer the carbo to any car but that 9f is quick and agile. I cant control it for sh*t however.... its a more centered car, carbo is more back end making their handling totally different.

Advice for Carbo,

1. You do not need full gas all the time.

2. accelerate through corners hard while steering but as soon as you feel yourself start a slide full off gas than right back on full with full counter steer and you will straiten right out, as letting off a split second will cause a downshift causing tires to spin even more than with the counter steer its slides back strait and it takes off like a rocket.

3. Use your breaks before you start your turn and accelerate in and do step 2.

4. In rain, Do not accel while turning at all, only when past the apex and you know your fine, and brake EARLY.

5. if someone tries to pit you, let off, but not all the way, about half gas, you should not have to counter steer much. Its a very stable car when not pedal down to the floor.

Maybe I'm missing something, but do you think driving the 9f is much different from driving any other car? I think it is one of the better handling cars tbh. Comet and carbon are harder to drive imo.

not missing anything, each car handles different. Carbo, carbon, comet(my type) are back end monsters and can slide much easier than most cars including the 9f. 9f sticks better but is very light so it can make quicker turns, with less effort, but perhaps come out the others side of that turn slower than a carbo when driven properly.

I find driving the 9f, its squirrelly because if its weight, you can throw it around side to side but while doing so it is harder to control than a carbo/comet. 9f is more likely of the two have their car do a little jump like f1 cars can do around corners... where the carbo will never do that it will spin around the corner.

the super fast acceleration means spinning out in an infernus isn't too much of an issue, especially since it's a rarity. you're back to top speed in like 3 seconds. then again, I find the infernus extremely easy to drive.

the coquette's oversteer is impossible for me to handle but it looks a million times better than the 9f. shame bc the 9f (not cabrio) has the most solid handling of any premium car I've driven

I second the Rapid GT. Totally underrated car imo. However, on topic with the 9f and Comet seeing as how their driving is very similar (more noticable on the comet). To add to the OP's remarks I will also add that with a car like these I would suggest getting used to a slight amount of tail slide in your turns and simply learn to TAP the brakes instead of hold it. Within time you will learn the speed in which your car can take the turn without having the rear spin out. By tapping the brakes efficiently and then hammering the accel in the apex of the turn you will find you can take corners at a much higher speed. The learning curve is fairly steep so plan on countless crashes and time invested before master this.
