I was minding my own business during a free-roam session, when a level 10 player crashed behind my Entity and started shooting. He couldn't hit me because an Overflod Enitity XF has no rear windows.

So I drove to the other end of the street with the rear-end of my Entity still facing my would be assailant. I began shooting at him with the AP Pistol and he died. After that I thought he would back the f*ck off, but no , he kept trying to kill me and this went on and on until I killed him 30 times. Not once did he kill me.

Then I got an in-game text message from the player saying " You jerk, you were killing my kid."

What the hell?

How could have I known it was your kid?

First of all, why is she/he letting her/his kid play an M-rated game?

I just can't wrap my head around this stupidity.

Maybe this player realized he/she sucked so much that he pretended to be a parent. If not, should I just stop playing because your kid is in the session?

I know this has been discussed before, kids that play M-rated games don't turn into psycho-killers...

BUT

Should parents let their kids play M-Rated games?

Ugh. Not again...

Yes, No, who cares, it's their decision.

Eh long as the kid is responsible i don't see the problem. I personally was playing wolf 3d back when i was a youngster.

Although the idea of a parent getting that upset their kid was beaten in a game amuses me, these are the parents who raise hell if their kid is not used in every play during a game of peewee football *rolls eyes*

Exactly. Parents that let their kids play games like this shouldn't get upset when their kids get beaten.

f*ck you man. You still haven't explained why you were killing my kid. For your information I am a responsible parent. My son is thirty years old, well over the recommended age. Since your here now can you please explain why you felt the need to kill my son?

Oh, this thread again. No they shouldn't allow their kids to play this game, not because of the content, but because they are not fit to play this game together with 20 year old people.

I don't play paintball with 13 year old kids for instance.

I sat the controller down to do some stuff the other day. My 2 year old picked it up and was imitating me. Some asshole kept killing him even though the avatar was just jerking around erratically. Being a two year old he was just excited because he was being like daddy.

I think he was out of line for getting pissed for you killing him. Is his kid wants to just mess around then maybe a solo session is in order

As to your question about his parenting skills here's my response when twats like you make the mistake of saying something to me about what I do or don't do with my kid:

You pop him out your vagina and raise him pay for him deal with him when he's mad or sick and then you're free to hell me how the f*ck to care for him.

The guy was probably just butthurt you killed him a load of times and tried passing the blame to someone else. I've had a few weird messages saying something similar, but it's usually an angry message, to which I reply ' you got your ass kicked by a girl'. They don't respond after that.

I've been playing online long enough to know you just don't get into any strangers car. You'll probably set access to crew only on the way to the lawyers and shoot me in the head when I'm ejected from the car. No thanks, don't want to end up like my poor son.

Sure skittles might be the tastier snack but I think your American courts have proved that the stand your ground defence only applies if the victim/assailant is carrying skittles (it's a well known fact that skittles are over 500 times more lethal as a weapon than m&ms)

Depends on the situation and the child. There is no direct answer. When I play with my child, it is only in a private session and the only things he is allowed to do is race, deathmatch, or survival. All with only me. It falls under a combination of shielding him from the ignorant ones online, and of course keeping him from acting like a child with other players ruining their experience.

Did that message honestly bother you enough to make you come here and publicize it? Y'all must have some dull and boring lives.

I have to confess that your right. I don't really have a thirty year old son. I don't know how you caught me out, I thought from the way I posted no-one would ever guess. I must ask how did you work it out?

If someone lets their kid play this game, they immediately take all blame for anything incurred and waive all right to displace responsibility.

Pretty much that.. weekend warriors.

I find that weekends, my days of ultimate relaxation are when the kids come out the woodworks.
