Hell of a coincidence, surely, but it'll be truly frightening if Rockstar intentionally released GTA V five years after IV just for the sake of the reference. Grievous Posted November 29, 2013 Author Share Posted November 29, 2013 Or reversely, they pushed the game out to meet their 2013 deadline, hence leading to so many impressions that a good deal of content was missing. They already pushed the release date to September rather than the usual release date of mid-spring too. Personally though I don't believe that GTA V was missing half of its content, maybe just a handful, but really not that much. Also, the opening prologue took place in 2004, which was the year San Andreas came out. This one is definitively intentional. However, Carl Johnson's prediction meanwhile reaches a whole other ... dimension ... Grievous Posted November 29, 2013 Author Share Posted November 29, 2013 Well I didn't say they had it all figured out a decade ago, I'm suggesting if the decision to release GTA V five years after GTA IV was simply a small or freaky coincidence. It's rather precisely this conspiracy mentality of fans that may go dig under every rock and dirt in the hopes of finding clues to predict future GTA content that I was cautioning about.
