THConer Posted November 29, 2013 Share Posted November 29, 2013 So guys we have been searching for the Jetpack since the release of the game , and we found nothing , personally I think that the glyph might be just a reference for an upcoming DLC ?Guys you searched and you knew every single thing in this game ? , we all did out best , we tried hard to find it but nothing , you are searching for something which doesn't exist in Gta v right now , I believe that the jetpack is a DLC not a stupid mystery which can't even be solved ? that's the first time for rockstar games to put mysteries in their game , so do you think that they will put that kind of mystery ? and also there is no any files in the game saying that there is a jetpack ? the jetpack is a lie , it's just a way that rockstar did to make sure that we will discover the hole map and know every thing in this game until they release the jetpack DLC . we searched for the jetpack hardly , we are really going too far , you are talking about shadows and some stuff like that , you are taking photos for see water and trying to analyse it ?So I Think there is no jetpack in GTA V because : 1- We discovered every thing in gta and we searched really hard2- First time for rockstar ro put mysteries so I Think that they aren't going to put such a hard mystery3- No Game files in gta for the jetpack Well personally i think there is no jetpack , so that's a personal opinion so please show some respect Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In regards to the OP... I can see where you are coming from... But the Jet pack is something pretty simple... a ridable T-rex or a whole hidden island or alien invasion level, as many people have theorized or suggested... that, I think is just wishful thinking. Why would people think it was implying there was one hidden in the game? 1- In GTA: San Andreas, there was one.... Los Santos is one of the cities from GTA:SA, so why not ... 2- It is fairly easy to program, model and rig... so why not. 3- People wanted them to have one in the previous games... expected it actually... so it would seem nice if Rockstar listened to those people... 4- Like I said before I started listing stuff, there is a drawing of one on the mural, the very nature of the mural seems to imply it is some sort of map or guide to finding it... realistically, you would have to assume the people who made the mural might have taken some college level art or computer graphics courses, and the whole mural is basically "Pictograms and icons 101: Communicating without words". One could argue "It could mean anything" and while that is true, One could also argue one would have to be simplistic to assume that would not be the first thing someone would think it meant and thus would be a pretty rotten trick to pull if that were the case and it were a "red herring". 5- Rockstar is pretty good at writing pretty simple, convoluted and completely disjointed plots and story lines and still having gamers proclaim said writing as brilliant... it sort of looks as though that writing carried over to the "mystery/easter egg hunt"... resulting in a mish-mashed murky mess of a mystery which is possibly far from finished (not in a good way). 6- The game files... I don't buy into that either... I could easily hide stuff and create alternate designations for items... the criteria by which people are using this as proof is too simplistic, its like reading a phone book and saying "Mary Smith must be dead, because I don't see her name in the the phone book"... Yeah... but what if her last name is now Rodriguez or Gumblsteen because she got married? Its easy to change a name in a file. What if Jet_pack is now PHoneB00th? Thats just the most basic way of disguising it. All that having been said, I can see where the OP would see it that way... because effectively even if there is a jetpack or other things in the game, Rockstar has screwed up the whole mystery to the point where they are probably the only ones who understand it... so its almost like there is no jetpack. For me... I tried a bunch of more logical things (based on what usually works in GTA games) and I got nothing... I found a lot of interesting things in the desert (like mine doors and some locked storm shelter doors), but nothing that you can interact with ... nothing. It is QUITE possible the OP is actually right... rockstar is notorious for having unfinished content in their games... who knows... maybe (and it REALLY would not surprise me if it were so), maybe the team that was responsible for the mystery had other more important tasks, and when push came to shove and time was running out, someone in charge said "wrap it up, you are done... its not important, we need to get this game out"... so the mystery may not even be complete. I personally think that would be a really crappy thing to do, especially given how much publicity and sales the mystery has generated. The people who did their jobs well, I have to say created one of the best looking GTA to date... the best feeling too... I won't compare it to other (non-GTA) games, it would not be fair, and it doe have lots of warts to go with the good stuff... but in my opinion the mystery was a bust and way overblown. I think R* should've had 'something' cool in V, like a hoverboard at Humane labs, or a gravity-bike---just something crazy, but R* left this game blank in many ways. Hell, they could have at least given the Space Docker the ability to use those thrusters or whatever they are. I was really hoping for something extra "secret" or special. I remember seeing the screenshots of the Lazer back in the summer of 2012 and thinking, "man, if they're showing off this stuff, imagine the secret shit that they're not showing us." For R* to release a GTA game set in San Andreas with a lot of similarities to San Andreas and not to include the jetpack would make them a worse company than EA..... That is what makes me believe there could still be a jetpack in the game. If there isn't a jetpack, then R* is WORSE than EA..... and that is saying something right there. If there is no jetpack, I believe R* could make themselves slightly better than EA by adding it as FREE DLC (very soon). If R* adds it as DLC for any amount of money.... not only are they worse than EA, the only people worse would be terrorists. I'm being honest. It would be very disrespectful and immature of me to actually say they would be worse than terrorists because I understand it's just a video game. This game is set in Los Santos, a part of SA #FACT 3. So obviously there is a jetpack #FACT 4. There is no jetpack only if you can proove there isn't one #FACT 5. But it is impossible to have a proof that something isn't there (just like god) so it can never be prooven wrong, therefore we are right and there is a jetpack #FACT KIFFLOM.
