disappointments of GTA V

Still a great game. But like with GTA IV, as time goes on, people will see that GTA V had a lot of flaws people overlooked at first.

I'll at least try to guess them

1. Los Santos (the city) feels a bit big and diluted. Would've been better denser or broken up into three cities like GTA:SA

2. Not a lot of interiors at all (offline I mean)

3. The whole underwater section felt like a waste, tbh.

4. Soundtrack lacks a large amount of memorable songs, or songs which signify an era. Oh, and certain songs repeat way too much.

5. Cheap exploits and a lack of a pay-and-spray makes cop chases less exciting

6. Story has no idea whether it wants to be a dumb comedy or a crime drama. Actually the whole game seems like a parody of itself.

7. Story is fueled by inconsistent character behavior (such as Madrazo being uncharacteristically forgiving)

8. Several of the heists lack real choice and the amount of choices you have are limited. They, just like the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2, will be remembered by their concept rather than their level design.

9. The final heist felt way too easy to be epic. I was expecting something like robbing six banks in succession (with no checkpoints of course)

10. None of the 5 antagonists are memorable. Steve Haines is funny though.

11. The countryside was really all just empty land after all. Even the animals populating it are sparse.

12. The satire in the game is nothing more than just "lol liberals are bleeding heart wusses" and "lol conservatives are paranoid bigoted idiots".

13. Lastly, while GTAV's world is diverse, it's not symbolic or nostalgic as other games were. GTA III and IV made me feel like I was in New York. GTA:SA made me feel like I was in 90's LA. GTA:VC made me feel like I was in Miami in the 1980's. GTA V tries to emulate modern California but feels more contrived than ever.
