Bullet resistant glass could be a possibility, where it would take more abuse from SMG and pistol rounds, compared to assault rifle, or heavy sniper rounds.

Even bullet proof glass in real life has its limitations. I'm sure people who have armored up benz's etc, who have been shot at didn't sit around long enough to test the durability of it.

Not bc of armor upgrades, it's because of the louvers, the infernus, vacca, entity, bullet, police van and dominator(upgraded) has this.

Yeah i always thought the armor done something for the windows...sadly that's not the case, you learn the hard way
