Hotknife available for everybody?

Last night I started a new character and when you have to steal the car that becomes your first Personal Vehicle I cruised around for quite a while looking for something decent.

 

I was right near the LSC in East Los Santos and an NPC Hotknife drove past me in traffic even though I don't have the Collector's Edition. (I stole it but obviously couldn't use it since it's classed as "too hot")

 

Is this some kind of glitch or have they made the collector's cars available for everyone? I'm thinking it's probably a glitch since I still can't buy them from Legendary Motorsport. I've also never seen the Khamelion or CarbonRS anywhere.

 

Anybody else without the collectors edition noticed this?

From what I know, you can't place it in your garage. Maybe it was a rare appearance.

Idk about all that, but if u can find a Collectors edition owner to dupe one for u, theres a new method that allows it to work.

 

 

Good luck finding a collectors edition owner who will help you tho. Everyone one of them i met is greedy as f*ck when it come to helping out a fellow forumer.

I'm not really bothered about owning one, I just saw it and thought it was weird. It was a POS to drive anyway, decent acceleration, no cornering and poor top speed.

I dont care how sh*tty it handles, i still love my bedless ratloader. I just want the hotknife for the looks, i couldnt care less about the performance lol

It understeers worse than the Ratloader but seems to be a lot faster.

 

It is a good looking car but I know I'd never drive it so I'm not fussed.

Maybe someone called the mechanic, the mechanic went the wrong way as usual and just kept driving like he usually does.

I have Two Ratloaders....My first one is modded out to the fullest.....it drives like a greasy turd on a bed of marbles .........the 2nd Ratloader, i left the bed with all the junk on the vehicles and did the rest of the mods ....the 2nd one handles and drives a lot better.... it still takes a lot of room to make a corner but at least it holds traction better

I haven't tried the ratloader but i can tell you that the hotknife brakes like sh*t

I GOT ONE!!!! its true, it does handle like sh*t lol. But its beautiful! Wish i could store it in my garage without losing it, but cant. Thats the only catch. To make sure i dont lose it, i just gotta blow it up and keep at at mors mutual when i want it again and have mechanic bring it.

 

But the glitch is confirmed to work on xbox
