Body armor looks crap and does nothing.

Stop wearing armor and start eating snacks.

Full snacks can bring you back from the brink of death a dozen times before you have to restock, while armor gets destroyed by the tiniest fall or bullet.

Snacks are also considerably cheaper. Buy snacks today !

Armour is sh*t anyway. You get shot once and it's gone, I don't even bother with it anymore.

unless it's on the ground waiting to get picked

Yes it does. The visual of wearing armour is irrelevant to the protection you get. Buy armour, go to inventory, remove armour, keep blue bar.

It gets tedious constantly removing it..often I just leave it on as ridiculous as it looks since I'm just tired of going to inventory every time. I'm getting to the point where I'd rather just not purchase the armor in the first place since the benefit is practically negligible.

It defeats the purpose of wearing good looking clothes and makes you look lame

Not if you are aiming for a military look, like the woodland almost full set. Heavy armor color is difficult to find in clothes, but kinda sorta can be achieved.

Some like to run in bikinis + flip flops and bad tattoos... some like a more militaristic look...

While armor gets destroyed by the tiniest fall

Start new missions > slip down small ledge > lose all armour and some health... Ridiculous.

I only just worked out we even had an inventory, have to start eating the snacks.

$500.00 for only one shot's worth of protection, hours of walking around looking silly.

It's takes 3 seconds to go into your quick menu and take the cosmetic body armor off.

so you're saying those who don't wear armor go around in bum clothes?

16k3zoh.jpgand does that count as bum?

I'm not much bothered by how fast the armor depletes from gunfire. I am bothered by the fact that crashing my bmx, or falling off a ledge, etc., depletes my armor. Non-projectile damage should ignore armor. Doesn't do much good to compare anything in the game to "real life", but that being said I highly doubt a kevlar vest would suffer much from a 3 foot fall off a bicycle.

I'd rather lose my armor then die. Crashing my Akuma that body armor has saved my life many times, even though visually I remove it.
