Armoured Trucks?

Does anyone know what makes them spawn? I just finished attacking a whole load of armoured trucks, made about 400k and they were still spawning when i decided to stop attacking them. They started appearing once it was just me and my crew member left in the public lobby.

Anyone know a way to get them to spawn in Solo,Invite Only or Public Lobbies? im not too fussed which lobby i do it in i just want to make a sh*t load of cash again quickly haha

It seems to be random. It does seem to bug out and send one after another occasionally. Don't know of any way to force this spawn to happen so just en joy them when they come.

I enjoyed the 60+ that spawned a lot! crazy quick XP and cash haha

I was in a session once in buzzard when this started happening. The buzzard locks onto the armoured trucks and I thought I was doing a favour for two other players who were chasing the trucks around by shooting the trucks. I only realised that the buzzard actually blows up the loot too after twenty or so when they started sending me angry messages

I have noticed that if Simeon has a high priority vehicle he's waiting for, the trucks don't seem to spawn. A couple of times when I was in a closed crew session (just me and a couple friends) and none of us went for the car, as soon as the message "the car that Simeon requested is no longer needed" or whatever it says pops up, an armored truck will sometimes instantly spawn.

 

So I think it is at least partially tied to Simeon's HPV's and possibly crate drops - in that I don't think the game likes to spawn more than one of these at a time. It's just my observation though, someone may have seen multiple things spawn at the same time.

Hmm now you mention it, there was a brief period where they stopped spawning and it happened to be when a high priority vehicle spawned on the map, As soon as we sold it the trucks appeared again. Hmmmm

I have no idea what spawns them, but I'm usually in a FR where it's either those spawning every 3 seconds, or crates spawning every 3 seconds. Now that I think about it, I've never been in a FR with both happening before.

Someone should do an experiment and research into this sh*t, its a big money maker when they spawn. Thats until Rockstar patch it....

They rarely spawn for me in crowded public rooms. But it seems like 2/3 of the time when it's just me and my one other crew member in a "closed crew session," we can get a run of Armored Cars going.

 

It's not perfectly reliable, but it seems like if one of you can keep the "cracked" Car in your sight for a little while, as your friend looses a 3 Star wanted level, you're more likely to see another one spawn.

Sorry, but I have to resurrect this thread, because this happened to me yesterday and I gathered some information.

 

Armored Trucks spawn in success if there are EXACTLY 2 people in the lobby. I don't know if this happens all the time then, but I know it doesn't have to be in invite only, because it happened in Freeroam the other day. And it stopped as soon as the other player (a stranger by the way) left.

 

I will have to do some testing on this, as it could be the by far fastest method right now to get legit money and experience. With just a few of them I gained half a level (98 to 99) and about 100.000$ in a short amount of time (maybe 5-10 minutes). This would even beat CR (though not the LSC glitch of course).
