Jedi the SITH Posted November 29, 2013 Share Posted November 29, 2013 If you're anything like me, you are not willing to spend real money to acquire fake money on GTAO. I am sitting right around $1 mil but I have yet to buy a Shark Card....and I never will. One way I have made and kept money is not to waste money. With all the customizations available for clothes, cars, etc., not going broke is actually a very hard thing to do in this game. I wanted to post a few things that if done often can make/ preserve your paper stacks. Hopefully there will be others that will read this and post some helpful tips as well cuz I have not seen very much on this. So good luck! First Tip: Jack and sell a vehicle as soon as you get in game. Make 3 to 9 g's right off the bat and don't spend it. Second Tip: if you're planning on getting a new ride to replace another one, make sure you sell the old ride first. Don't just replace it and miss out on 10's of thousands of dollars. Third Tip: Only buy ammo for the weapons you use often if at all. I know a lot of people that feel the need to keep EVERYTHING stocked. This is very very VERY expensive. At $113 for a box of SMG ammo and payouts of maybe a couple thousand for a race or job, screw that. I don't buy anything til I'm damn near empty. Also if you need ammo play a few survival missions and run around picking up all the ammo from the dead bodies when there is only one guy left. gtaocicat Posted November 29, 2013 Share Posted November 29, 2013 i only buy ammo for my assualt shot gun and one of my pistols and i only do that when the ammo is very low . i also dont visit the customization shops often, if at all . as for selling cars , i made 12k last night off one idiot , he had a bounty on him and instead of just driving by and leaving me alone he goes and hits me with his car . it didnt kill me so i ran to a flight of stairs and then took him out , got the bounty for 4 k . then he comes back for more after killing him 2 more times i jacked his ride and took it to the car shop and sold it for 8 k lol.
