Hi, I have a problem with GTA san andreas, I have the GTA san andreas user files, but I only have Gallery and User tracks. I can't seem to find the gta_sa.set in there, I have a problem but I want to delete it. How can I get the gta_sa.set? My specs are:

  • Windows XP Professional
  • Service pack 3
  • Intel Core 2
  • 1.86 GHz
  • 2.00 of RAM

The file is created when the Player successfully ends (closes) a game play session.

Have you saved a completed game turn?

Well, the problem is when I go to my game and when the gta san andreas in the game ends, it goes to the black screen.

Since it isn't closing successfully that would explain why there is no gta_sa.set file.

I'm not clear?

  1. You are able to open the game?
  2. You are able to play the game?
  3. You are able to save the game?
  4. But, when finished the game black screens instead of closing?

It isn't necessary to "Quote". You may just use the 'Reply to this topic' button.

No, I mean like, you know when you start the game? The san andreas logo comes up, once that logo ends, it goes to a black screen, it feels up my computer is going to explode. My pc meets the requirements, I just don't get it.

to be sure...

Install the game using "Admin Privileges". Into a computer with these stats:

Recommended System Requirements:

Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (or better)

 384(+) MB of RAM

 16x DVD-ROM drive

 4.7 GB of free Hard Disk space for a full install

 128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better)

 DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card

 Game pad** with twin axis analog controls (USB or Joystick Port)

 Keyboard & Mouse

** I suggest 12 buttons minimum. I use the Logitech Dual Action ™, as it works straight from the box without any special drivers. Seitek also nice. Attempting to use console controllers may take hours to find the right driver(s) and then still not work.

Minimum System Requirements

• 1GHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon Processor

• 256MB of RAM

• 8x DVD-ROM Drive

• 3.6 GB of free Hard Disk space for a minimal install

• DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card

64MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce3" or better)

• DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card

and a Keyboard & Mouse

You installed to the C:/ drive?

The game isn't modded?

Lil, can you look at my folder and tell me if anything in the folder is causing the problem? Or I need files that are missing.

When & If someone has an idea of what your problem is I am sure there will be a posting to that effect.

Please, do not make multiple postings. If you have something to add use the EDIT button to change/delete/add more information.

since you are playing with an Original DVD from Rockstar, and your machine meets the minimum requirement regarding hardware and Operating System I can't think of any reason for it not to run. As far as the images, my eyes aren't good enough to read them.

@lil Alright, but can you look at my GTA SA folder and see if anything there is there that I don't need or I need files.
