Creativity.

 

This seems to be one of the things really separating the people who are still enjoying online and the people who are not. Rockstar has created a immense free-roam environment to be enjoyed with 16 people on the same map. After all the missions are done and the cars modded, free roam is really whats left. I want to start a list of ways people have fun in free roam/ creative activities and events to help encourage outside the box thinking.

 

I've got more but would love to get some other people to weigh in with their fun antics. I will update the OP with really good ones. Here are 2 of my favorites right now.

 

1. Love ambushing the high priority vehicle at the number 3 loading bay. Usually going of the radar as they enter the docks, assault shotgunning their faces and turning in the car they resprayed. GTA mentality at its best.

 

2. Cargo-bombing : This requires a sticky bombed car, a cargo bob and really good aim.

 

3. Buzzard Stalking: Finding people driving places, preferably in a hurry, then tailing the literally with a attack chopper 1-2ft off the ground but never firing. Social experiment to see how they react. - Contributed by stonedpimpso

 

4. More high priority fun. This time treat the vehicle and the person claiming it as a prized possession and defeat and hinder any hijackers trying to steal or blow it up. -Contributed by AzraelX

Try to put stuff in the back of a Titan and fly it to sandy shores.

Honestly I've creatively done everything you can do that doesn't literally take either an hour to setup or takes the cooperation of everyone in the session.

I'll just play something truly creative, like I don't know... Kerbal Space Program?

recently had a stunt pulled off with a sticked akuma, a titan and a trailing maverick that well, got obliterated for following a cargo plane too close with a precision driver and a exspolsive bike. But it took 3 people, i am looking for solo ideas, where no cooperation is required.

 

i have never seen/heard of others doing the cargo bombing, i would love to get multiple people doing this together, would be awesome

I agree... For all the complaining about the rampant murder and maiming of fellow free-roamers on this forum, I rarely see it.

 

Normally, for me, it's a session of either people ignoring one another or driving in their super cars up hills.

 

I personally like a massive brawl that spans the entire map. Been involved in one, lead from the airport to the mts, on the train into Paleto bay and ended somewhere off the coast of Zacundo bay.

one tip with cargo bombing is to use your PV, so much despawning in this game, its the only safe way.

My recent fun has been following anyone that seems like they're in a hurry, with a buzzard, as fast and low as possible. I never fire unless fired upon, I can imagine how nuts that looks to a bystander watching an Entity and a Buzzard pass by 2 feet from the ground at mach 5.

I know the whole "Don't hug me I'm scared" deal (which isn't original btw), and you think green's not creative? Green is, in fact, every color is creative; it just depends on how it's used.

P.S. killing isn't the best way to make friends, so be prepared for some people to come after you in a tank or mow you down in a buzzard because you screwed with them.

first of all, your a huge pussy. i have friends that play gta:o i don't need to act like a f*cking nun in lobbies to make friends. If i need to coordinate stunts i have over 50 contacts ready to go. I also have always encouraged people to come after me when i kill them, though this has lead to me becoming lots of folks arch nemesis when they try.

Next, i never once said "dont hug me im scared" was mine.... it is a original production that is very old (is that what you mean?) and i used it as a quip to draw some folks in. And your flawed logic that every color is creative depending on how you use it just proves what a moronic asshole you are.

This thread is to create a list of things to do online that are outside of the box. If you want to c*nt up the thread then go somewhere else, cause your now ignored to me

Even if you own a cargobob though you'd still have to find a bus or have a friend who bought one since you can't order two pegasus vehicles at once.

 

I agree it's terrible the cargobob doesn't spawn at later levels and that you can't buy it normally. R* said they were looking into it. No idea if anything will be done.

Creative stuff starts to happen once trolls have moved on to other games.

 

I'd like to get about 5 other people together and do a paratrooper paradrop over the city from a Titan. I would say more since the titan holds 10 but you need some randoms on the ground to be impressed by your effort.

These look like ways to be a dick but I will contribute with a personal favorite. Steal the marked Simeon car, set ignition/remote bomb. If remote, detonate when they are near the drop off point.

i totally forgot to mention my cargo-bob social experiment, when a person is faced with death, how will they accept their fate

 

Cargo-Bombing #2: Pick up a car with a person inside, fly as high as you want (minimum 500ft, maximum ???), if miced say "good luck", pull back hard on the throttle and exit the helicopter.

 

see, just dropping a car, its actually quite easy to keep it from exploding. If there is a helicopter attached though, whole different story. the social experiment part comes when you see how they handle their fate. persoanlly, i would still jump
