Ok bro well in all honesty i have helped many people with their mods and stuff but got nothing in return... i am all for helping people and i try to be as giving and selfless as possible... but there comes a time when i need to say, unfortunately its gonna cost you lol

 

You can choose what you wanna research and you can even have an advance on your pay (weapon sounds) but i do ask that you add something to the topic bro, sorry, just ends up with us being used as a one-stop-shop for modding

@above - The spsmall and spmed also have laser weapons too, so you've got to account for that. The lasers are also fixed like the Lazer's cannons (not turrets like the Rhino or firetruck's cannon), so they're not used for some target practice mini-game, or whatever.

 

And yes, tadd is right in that all movies/T.V. is pre-rendered video, you can view all the videos on your PC if you download Bink video player.

Im starting to think that spsmall and his friend spmed is leftovers from earliest version of the game maybe in mission where character takes drug and starts mayhem with aliens included ufos shooting at you with lasers and spsmall is handling for small ufo and spmed is for medium sized ufo. Rockstar cuts so many things that its hard to tell if something is cut or it never existed.

In GTA IV, R* left models from TV shows but they had their own world ids.

In this case the EGG is inside a rpf which is part of level design, the egg is not on TV and the asteroid could be in one of the movies for all we know but why don't you show proof of it, I mean you seem to know the "facts" about the asteroid very well.

@brothan... no one was saying anything about PC or anything, just that if you have the game files you can watch the videos... therefore they are pre-rendered...

 

And as far as i am concerned i have not seen ANY models that were used in videos left in the files... pretty sure the egg, the asteroid and the secret weapon crate (all used in the same way, by lev_des.xtyp) are for in game or were cut from in game or will be introduced in game...

 

If you can post 1 fact or tv show that asteroid appears in, i will take it all back... i am fairly positive you cant though

 

Even if an asteroid was used in a tv show, it is not this asteroid we found in the files.

 

And less attitude would be nice.

Well the UFOs are not flyable they are just map animated objects.

The Jetpack is plausible but no info in the game files yet but the Egg is in there.

The only thing we "have", using that very loosely, is the picture of the man on the mural, which people claim it is a jetpack, but it don't look like one to me. I still believe the bottom three things represent the special vehicles you unlock and the whole mural is just how to see the ufo

....that was his point. He said "Game files or gtfo" - meaning "Post something concerning the game files or get the fuck out". This topic is not for your idiotic tirade about how you feel there is no mystery, or your interpretation of the mural, it is for discussion of game files. Which as you said, you did not say ANYTHING about.

also, i know that the mystery shouldnt require any form of online to be solved, as not everyone plays online, but what are the chances that the end of the road is a code to redeem like the blimp? that downloads the Jetpack into the game? probably theres even a way of doing it on a computer and USB to help people without online access on their consoles.

 

so I was thinking that perhaps you can check what changes ingame before and after you redeem the blimp code, because the blimp is in the game already but unusable, maybe the download grabs the prop and turns it into a vehicle? so the jetpack could just be filed as a simple prop, or even its the Alien egg itself, and the code cracks it?

The blimp is not unusable, its just flying.

The DLC only adds dialogue and a spawn point of the Blimp which was already in the game.

I don't know if someone already mentioned this, but I think it is possible that Rockstar has hidden something in the stars. Maybe if someone find the texture (?) it is possible to notice some kind of message or shape. Doing that ingame is almost impossible with a sniper rifle.

What he's recommending is that you take a stock install of the game, look at various files and doodads regarding the blimp actor (if that's the correct term). Then download the blimp DLC, and see how that makes the blimp pilot-able.

 

I don't know that this will work because I think they are 2 separate things, but I have read worse ideas on this thread.

Like I said before.

The Blimp DLC was just a "scam" as the Blimp was already in the game as a fully working vehicle.

The DLC only added new Dialogue for the phone and the spawn location script for the Blimp.

 

What you should check is the before/after Valentine's Day handling.dat
