crate drop inbound message

every time i get on and drive out of my garage i get the "crate drop inbound" message and nothing ever gets dropped or ill get the message while playing and they'll be a green dot on the map and nothing get's dropped.

There just glitchy right now at the moment, probably just best to ignore the notifications until they have a fix in place.

That message states there is a crate that will be dropped. At that time you need to find the green circular area on the map.

 

Set a way point to that area.

 

While going to that area there will be another message stating the crate has been dropped. If you look on the map now, the green area circular area is now gone and there is a green box with a question mark on it, which will also show on the mini map.

 

Get to that box, find it, shoot it, and walk/run over its content.

 

At any point of the messages being displayed other players might also notice them. If they do then they will also be in route to the drop. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH AMMO AND A GUN YOU LIKE/CAN KILL EASILY WITH! If other players get there at the same time as you do then there will be a gun battle.

 

If you get to the green area and do not see the little green box with the question mark...someone has already taken it. Which means you missed the third message which states someone has already retrieved the crate.

 

When I am in free roam I make sure to have my quickest car on hand so I can get there faster then others.

 

I have picked up almost 5 of these in the past 10 hours of play (non consecutive).

getting the message and nothing dropping literally happens every single time i go online. i switch sessions, drive out of my garage i get the message. it's rare that i get the message and a crate actually drops. add the crate drops to the list of sh*t c*ckstar f*cked up when they launched a new patch
