Got YLOD when enjoying GTA:O > Suggestions?

Soooo... here comes the end of my loved PS3, after 7 years.

 

I was enjoying GTA:O so much!!! Argh! Even with all the problems i cant stop to play it!!

 

 

Problems is.... PS4 is coming out! What should i do? Buy a 150€ Slim and continue playing ( with rockstar cloud i dont need my Sp progress, only PSN Account)

 

Or forget the game and go on? :'(

Buy an ofw 3.55 ps3, jailbreak it and enjoy. By the way il guide you through full process and provide you with all modding tools free.

Slim PS3 + GTAV sounds like a plan to me. As you point out, they're cheap now. I'm still rocking my fat boy, but I've had to have it repaired once. I think I'll be in the same boat as you one day.

First time it broke in 7 years? Damn, I had 4 of mine break in 8 months a few years ago

I had my GTA stuck inside, but i took it out detroying the old one. Lucky me i had some spare parts from another fat ps3(broke)

You've just reminded me, I had GTA IV in mine when it died. The bastards promised they would, but never gave it back!
