Champagne is AOC protected. Only sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France, produced from Pinot or Chardonnay grapes and carbonated through secondary fermentation can be legally called "Champagne"- well, in Europe and most of the rest of the world, anyway. The US might have some funny foible about permitting it if it's caveated with a region or something else equally as silly.

Unless you need them all cold at once you can always just leave them in you room or garage or something and toss a few in the fridge at a time.
