I don't know what you're talking about with $3000+.

I made two scratch-modeled cars in Zmodeler..

You can also get the student edition of 3DS for free.

i didnt know that

Am i RIght when i say that the reason you cant uplaod the mod right now, is becouse you dont have premission for some of the cars!?!? In that case, just take out the cars u dont have premission for, and let us add our own cars into the blank spots... Or atleast do u have the links to all of the cars you used anywhere here!? As most people will never give you premission.

Yes, that's true. I'm working on a version without the permission required cars. I am quite silent regarding the project because I have so little time for it. Yet I am confident there will be a new version soon. I'm also busy updating the vehicle list completely, as that might indeed help people to give an indication of which vehicles could be used.

Why do you think that? Personally when I asked permission for our car pack, none of the authors did not refuse me. and when the release came, we gave full credit to all the authors. But the idea of indicating all links is completely correct, cuz the first version looked like the author of all the mods is the author of the car pack - no links, no attribution.

In addition, many of the author may be leniency if to show respect to their work, indicating the authorship and a link to the author's team resourse ;)

I dont really have a good answer to that, Just some people might feel a bit, how to say it, "Pressured", Into giving you premission after you already took them without asking them. But its good to hear if you've stumbled onto the good kind of people :)

RealNewYork could you look into making a pack compatible (or making this new pack compatible) with the Realistic Driving and Flying handling? Amazing packs but it's sucky having to choose between rippin' handling and a kickass car pack! :) Thanks

The handlinglines in his Handling file are already realistic to the installed cars if I'm not wrong.

I used the official handling lines of every modification, so the vehicles should handle fine. I do understand what you mean, but I don't think I can do that. Most cars act really weird if they don't use the handling line that's uniquely made for it, even when vehicles seem to be very much alike.

Cool man okay, I know nothing of handling so thought I'd ask. Understandable. The modelling of most cars are very different i.e.: Alex189 vs. Smokey8808 :) Thanks

This has to be one of the coolest vehicle packs I've seen for GTAIV, Well done indeed.

This is one topic I dearly want to follow.

One question could these vehicles be converted to work on SA?

Many probably are already released for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas!

I've downloaded the pack and installed it. The first time I opened GTA4, only taxis and Capris are spawning. I tried installing the Traffic Mod and that didn't work either. Could someone please help me??

Has this been tested as for missions, because often some car mods wont work for certain missions regarding that car!?

This is amazing, I am seriously depressed about not owning a PC now! Any good videos or screens of the mod in it's current glory that I could get some links too?

Well done seriously. 80's ftw

Wonderful to see the next version available to download. I'm a massive fan of this project. I'll have to D/L GTAIV on steam again, but I want to definitely check out 2.0!

So do all the files in this 'pack' have stuff from other authors? Or did you do some of them yourself? If all of this work is just the work of others, and you didn't get permission to upload their work, the topic has to be locked as it's against the rules.

I'll leave it open for a week, if I don't get full proof of permission by every author by then, the thread will be locked.

I don't think I will be able to receive permission from every author of the used vehicle mods.

Perhaps this could become a thread which lists vehicles that would make a realistic 1980's New York? In that case it will be no longer a modification - just a collection of vehicles (similar to the thread "Collection of Classic Cars (40s -90s) on LCPDFR). Let me know what you think. It would be helpful for classic car enthusiasts.

Sure, because it's literally impossible to type in "1980's New York" into google and point the cars out from the pictures.

An index of classic cars would be allowed, but packing them into one folder and uploading it isn't allowed. You'd have to give a link to the original downloads and if the original download isn't up, you can reupload it as long as the authors name is given.

I'm sorry about this, but this is the rules. If more attention was paid to stuff like this back when you originally created the topic, you would've been told about this earlier.
