inbetweendays_ 7,754 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) This would a perfect replacement. http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/1983-audi-sport-quattro-f10126 Nice project btw! That Audi's file size is very big and it would have been better if it were a stock version These are my recommends http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=394&start=0&id=57050&orderBy= http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=373&start=0&id=49451&orderBy=voting http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=561&start=0&id=50539&orderBy= http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=395&start=0&id=50165&orderBy=voting http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=472&start=0&id=35676&orderBy= http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=469&start=0&id=35492&orderBy= http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=383&start=0&id=46205&orderBy=voting http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=383&start=16&id=45460&orderBy=voting http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=383&start=&orderBy=&id=52251 http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=383&start=&orderBy=&id=38590 http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=370&start=&orderBy=&id=42674 http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=451&start=0&id=30963&orderBy=voting http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=379&start=16&id=49413&orderBy=voting http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=390&start=&orderBy=&id=37317 Thanks for the recommendations Amazing trailer, good job! Really gave an 80s vibe. Now I see that this has been done pretty fast, we could expand it in the future as well! Perhaps pedestrian- building- or scriptmodifications to add. Just lovely. By the way, you should play the full singleplayer game from 0 to 100%, checking if everything works out! As for the Caprice; I'd say stick to Carface's. He's the best. Thank you! Oh indeed! Cars are just one thing, it can get really awesome with those modifications I'm doing missions every now and then, no problems yet. Only with "Easy as Can Be", but I guess that's because that mission features a car which I removed in the vehicles.img. Wow, this is really awesome. It's gonna look great with the WTC mod! Hope it's working well WTC mod will definitely look great with the mod! I choose cars with high quality and lowest file size! I want it to be usable for as many people as possible. Imbredking: May I ask you if you actually manage to decrease the size of the vehicle? I have seen your work and the cars you have picked so far but I know some of them are really big in term of size and I am afraid it might cause some stutterings. I do not use cars mods anymore but I can recall than the ones created by Stiopa were high quality whereas they were still light. Anyhow, I appreciate your work buddy! I hope I will be able to use your compilations of cars. Keep it up! Vehicles.img is 311 MB right now. Only 10 cars have a WFT size over 3MB. Still, for really low end pc's a fully modded game just has to cause problems. I still don't have texture or taxi bugs Thanks man! I hope so too! Chevrolet Impala 1967 http://www.gtavicecity.ru/gta-4/cars/27786-chevrolet-impala-1967.html File size is huge VW T2 with some nice skins: http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&main_cat=341&start=0&id=57980&orderBy= Tested it a while ago, the quality isn't too great unfortunately Will you release a pre-version or a test one? Can't wait to get this pack since I have taxi bug if I try to do it myself Test version will come But some cars are not replaced yet because I can't find any more use able cars. Compeast 742 Posted March 9, 2014 Hey, could anyone do me the favor of refreshing my mind? Does in any of the missions come in a Yankee, and would a Yankee need specific modifications to that mission?
unbid 5,220 Posted March 10, 2014 Hey, could anyone do me the favor of refreshing my mind? Does in any of the missions come in a Yankee, and would a Yankee need specific modifications to that mission? Yankee only featured in one mission: "Harbouring A Grudge". It doesn't need any specific modification as the mission only involves Niko stealing a Yankee from the Triads.
RoadRunner71 2,943 Posted March 10, 2014 The Mule was the truck that could give problems as it was featured in the mission 'Truck Hustle', where Niko had to ride the back of the truck.

bmcf1lm 0 Posted April 8, 2014 (edited) Man I love this pack, very cool. I hope for a release Buick Riviera (1963) or the Oldsmobile Cutlass 442? I would also like to see some more British cars, if that isn't an unreasonable request. Edited April 9, 2014 by bmcf1lm
joyrider00 48 Posted April 13, 2014 Wow, nice job so far! Believe or not but about year ago I also tried to make 80s car pack but failed miserably. Now if somebody would make 80s "mobile" phone mod which would replace 21st century cell phones with brick-like Motorolas

saultheswag 0 Posted May 29, 2014 Hey you should make a car pack for the early 2000s (perferebly 2000 or 2001) it would be easy since most of the cars in the early 2000s where from the 80s and 90s, so u can use most of ur car pack, just add some cars from the 90s and make the police cars and taxis crown vics and chevy caprices and your done! saultheswag 0 Posted May 30, 2014 yeah and try the dodge monoco the guy was talking about, it has a new york state police skin, so that can be a replacement for the noose cruiser

ReyZie93 4 Posted May 31, 2014 Checker Marathon Cab (1977-82). Can you imagine NYC in 1988 without Checker Cabs?
RoadRunner71 2,943 Posted May 31, 2014 I read somewhere that back in the late 1980’s, some taxi drivers got kind of pissed off as people rather to take the vanishing Checker cabs instead of the then contemporary cabs such as Caprices or Impalas. It would be certainly nice if it was converted to IV.

fjpgfran 0 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) First of all, the car pack looks awesome I have found some cars that were used by the nypd during 1988 and would be great on the car pack Dodge Diplomat Highway Patrol This car can replace the police vapid cruiser used by the noose, the lighbar is not tha same as the real one and the skin can be improved I have seen that both police patrol, the cruiser and the other one, have been replaced by the same car, the 87' chevrolet caprice. The NYPD also used the chevrolet caprice with other type of wheels This is the impala, but it is very similar to the caprice http://www.gtaall.com/gta-4/cars/15147-chevrolet-impala-police-1983-v20.html And the nypd step van that you have added, you can change the livery to the old one like the other cars http://www.gtaall.com/gta-4/cars/29228-chevrolet-step-van-1985-nypd.html Edited June 9, 2014 by fjpgfran
RoadRunner71 2,943 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) Uh, that Diplomat is awful (with all the respect to the author, but the model is simply inaccurate, heavy sized and has a low resolution paintjob). It's simply better to use the Dodge Aspen with the NYPD paint job as I posted in the first page. The Chevrolet Impala was never used by the NYPD or any other law enofrcement agency operating in NYC that I know. FDNY for instance had Impalas, though their setup was totally different to the one you've linked. Can't post the picture at the moment, in the link below can be seen one. https://www.flickr.com/photos/weth_res23cue/5916297162/in/[email protected]/ Besides, having already a good Caprice model why bother adding it? The only thing against the step van is the paint job, which is the one used in the 1990's. Other than that, fits simply swell. Compeast does cool stuff. Anyhow, wasn't it already added to the pack? PS. Sorry if I'm being too picky, just trying to help this to be kind of accurate Edited June 9, 2014 by RoadRunner71
