TBOGT version:

Take the anims.img from the original GTAIV (Grand Theft...IV\pc\anim) and put it inside the Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty City\EFLC\TBoGT\pc\anim directory, and the playerped.rpf (can be found in Grand Theft...IV\pc\models\cdimages\ dircetory) and put it in Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty City\EFLC\TBoGT\pc\models\cdimages folder. Then install the mod.

At least you've got the face more accurate than Claude's. Keep up the good work :beerhat:

Keep up the good work! I'm not doing any better!

that's all he meant I'm sure... :panic:

Honestly I think Claude looked pretty sweet and this one is spot on great work! can't wait to see the body finished up.

I thought Claude looked pretty good, but as far as accuracy went with the original GTA 3 Claude, it wasn't very accurate from what I can recall. This one seems to be more accurate to Tommy, though, with the right dimensions, and so on.

Claude's original model was VERY lowpoly so I had to guess a lot, how his face's parts would look like.Plus there were two versions of him (PS2/PC version and the XBox one), a lots of different portraits of him, the action figure etc.I think even at Rockstar games they have no idea how he really looks like. When I started the project, I was aware of that not everyone will be satisfied with the results. But in Tommy's case we're talking about a more detailed model so obviously it's gonna be more accurate.Anyway, I'm happy with both of them, and luckily I'm not alone :)

I've got some unfinished stuff for Claude which I'm planning to work on simultaneously with Tommy's head model, but after that Vercetti Clothing is going to get the green light ;)

A little teaser ;)

Aside from the face looking a wee twiddle bit fat (could be the angle), it looks pretty spot-on! The skin tone is right, the mouth, 5'oclock shadow. You really got it going on, amigo!

Thanks :) Constructive criticism is more than welcome, I'll work on his chin and jaws. It's rather funny how the characters get chubby as they're arrive in IV...

@MegaMario - Don't feel sorry. You made a valid point, there are differencies that I haven't realized till now.

Anyway it was just a test to see how the diffuse map, normals etc look like ingame.

@MrPeteyMax - It won't be necessary :D But I'm glad you feel that way :D

Why does the new Tommy face look "fat"? The original one from the first post looked much better imho

Honestly I can't see that fat you're talking about. But maybe it's because his massive jaws.
I'll upload the files whith basic rigging when it's done (Hopefully in a day) and you can test it yourself.I think that's the most reliable method plus you can have fun too ;)

Changed my mind, here are the latest files : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8pomvlv760i8vxs/QpPeXfLrWn
Note: It's rigged poorly, so don't expect too much.Have fun!

Really good work here man.

Only big issue I see is his hair shimmers but that could be due to my ENB settings.

No, it's not that.I forgot about the hair being buggy. It's a bit f*cked up because of the shader settings.I'll fix it soon.

Done.Check it out!

It's a bummer how the Tommy you posted in the OP looked so much like the original Tommy, and now you bewildered it by making him look much fatter in later pictures.

Compare this...

To this...

He looks the exact same in both, model and texture wise.

Just that in the picture above, Tommy's in a suit and wearing glasses (and he looks more pale because I think the person who took the picture is using ICEnhancer or something similar).

The cheekbones in the first picture look much more "thin" and more true to the original Vice City model, whereas the second one has much "rounder" cheekbones, for lack of a better word
