This inspired me to take this picture.

Black and white does it wonders.

I drive freight trains IRL, and I absolutely hate going through long tunnels.

Sorry for the late reply, its simply a statue of an airplane outside the LS Airport!

of course! seen it hundreds of times,

cutting off frame the back bit that attaches it to ground: genius.

funny the other day, i tryed the same with the eagle (near maze bank building), but there's too many buildings around, didn't work.

thanks for reply.

Hum... These black and white pictures gave me an idea, what about a black and white GTA5 mode? Remember Max Paine and Manhunt (first games) some missions were in black and white.

if i remember correctly, there's B&W mode in LAnoire and also a sepia mode in red dead. don't quote me tho, could be wrong

I especially like that one, where is that thing? somewhere in altrust cult land or..?

Thanks :D It looks like something that would be in the altruist cult, although its just below the bridge entrance to Fort Zancudo. I've circled it on this map.XjdpS2H.png

I also took this more creepy looking photo of it

:D it's the in game version of a creepy real place called 'bohemian grove'... hooooooo... check it out :panic:

I'm not totally sure about the shots of dead NPCs – they can be good but don't spam em!

I always try to make the 'darker' shots tasteful. (No blood spatter, nudity, oh-my-god-that-man-is-on-fire-lemme-take-a-picture etc.) Luckily, they're few and far between in my collection and have a theatrical, expressive tone. :)

Looks good in BW! When I took that shot the filters hadn't yet been added to Snapmatic.

Why oh why didn't IV have a similar image uploading feature. I would've loved to take street shots in Liberty City..

GTA 4 was set in 2008 and Iphones (Ifruit) and Smartphones were just getting popular or werent popular...but true i also would have love to take pics of Liberty City :).

I know it's a repeat shot but felt I needed to post both. It's hard to line up two of the same shots in a row sometimes. (Camera view reset)

Here's a few of my efforts. I like landscape photography, but I've been trying to capture every day life in Los Santos

No points for guessing the location

Because who doesn't love a good sunset?

The harsh realities of the LSPD. Taken just after a massive shootout between the police and some gang members.

Kings of the hill.

Two shots of the same cars with the "photographers" shadow in one frame... Not exactly the type of material we are going for here. Sorry to be blunt but had to say it!

Brazilian Photographer and Artist Fernando Pereira Gomes has taken street photography to a new dimension.

He has taken ‘pictures’ from Grand Theft Auto V, publishing a collection of images called ‘Street Photography V’.
Gomes says “What I found was remarkable. The game is so realistic that it felt like being in the streets outside, running around for shots, anticipating passersby’s movements and reactions.”
See some of his work HERE
Fernando Pereira Gomes was born in 1993 in São Paulo, Brazil. He used his first analogue camera at thirteen and hasn’t taken his eye away from the viewfinder since.
Fernando has lived in Brazil, Belgium, Switzerland, and Austria, but he is currently living in New York, and is studying photography at the School of Visual Arts.

They are both beautiful shots, the sunlight in the first shot draws attention to the trees but in the second it draws attention to centre of shot which is always a good thing. I'd say they're pretty much equal but the near perfect reflection of the sun on the water in the second shot gives it the overall edge for me.

Thanks for the opinion. I have to say I was warming to the 2nd picture.
