Someone, please help. i am posting in the cheats because i dont know if there is a simple way of doing this. i can kill lance then i get back down to sonny and i go into my office to kill people and i killed a group of the guys. then i ran out to blast sonny with the rocket launcher i shot him with it over and over (i have quick reload) and he never died i did though. some one please help. . .

here's how i did it dude, just wrapped up the last story based mission last night....

Before the mission, i stopped by phils for some heavy artillery.  hey i had the bread to spend, why not?

So i took advantage of the Colt that was in my office.  I stood at the top of the stairs like Tony Montana on a bad day and proceeded to obliterate any yahoo that tried to invade my pad.  After gatting about 10 or 12 maggots, Lance popped out and I took my shots at him, following him up to the roof, where i massacred his backup with my chaingun.  I ran to my chopper and lobbed granades at lance till he bit the dust then I went after sonny.  I jumped off the balcony and ran to my TV lounge room.  Using the dopeass sniper rifle, i edged my way out and sniped sonny out.  and that was it.

I basically did the same thing as the guy above but I used the gatling gun on Sonny. After grabbing the health and shield on the bottom floor I went to the same floor he was on and I blew the mofo's kneecaps off and he went down in 2 seconds. That gun is SICK!!

What I did was I killed the guys that came in the main floor of the mansion first. Then I chased Lance up to the roof and I killed the guys and I then killed Lance. Ran down and talked to Sonny. I went to the same hallway (where I chased Lance) and went DOWN the stairs to the main floor of the mansion and I killed Sonny from the side. Took a few tries.

I found that mission to be one of the easiest in the latter half of the game. And I managed to pull it off with very few weapons.  But then the battle plan I executed is probably something Rockstar hadn't even dreamed of.  The above strategy probably has more, erm, strategery, but mine offers a quick (almost cheap) and a rather effect.  Needless to say, there may be a couple of minor *spoilers* involved, but nothing big if you're this far into the game already....

 

First, you will need: an M16 (I only used @ 30 rounds), 2 or 3 RPG rounds, and must have found 80 hidden packages.  You might also want to bring along a Mac10 or a Tek just in case, or to lay down some some cover-fire whilst running about like a madman.

As soon as the cutscene ends, crouch behind the desk and pull out the M16.  As the first guy runs up to the door, hit him with a headshot and leave the gun aimed right there.  You should then be able to take off the rest of the intruder's heads without moving the gun more than an inch left or right.  When the message pops up telling you to kill Lance, casually exit the room, let 'em chat for a second, and fire off a couple of rounds.  They don't have to hit anything, that's just Lance's cue to exit, and when he does chase him to the stairway.  

 

Once in the stairway, they should yell at eachother some more...   When this happens, jump down the middle of the stairway to the bottom like a suicidal lunatic, run out the back door, and grab the Sea Sparrow.  Simply fly that up to the roof, and slaughter everyone.  Now run back down to the second floor for the mini-cutscene of Sonny's entrance.

 

After the brief cut, you should be right back where you started.  Do the crouch/M16/headshot trick again on the first few dudes, grab the SPAS shotgun by the door, and use it to kill whoever is on the top of the stairs when you walk out.  Next, from the top of the stairs, fire a rocket or two towards the front door.  This should kill everyone down there except for Sonny.  To finish him off, run around the balcony thingy, jump over the rail to land beside him, and keep dumping shotgun rounds into him 'til he's dead (2 or 3 should do it).

 

The funny part is, this looks really long on 'paper', but in fact it should take a minute or so to do, barring cutscenes of course. The longest part really is waiting for the heli's blades to speed up, lol.  And after discovering this little trick, I can finish the mission without getting a second vest or health pickup.  The most damage recieved during this stunt usually happens as a result of jumping off of things.
