~9000 rounds of automatic riffle ammo?

Hi I've been blessed with a few instances of app. ~9000 rounds of ammo for my automatic riffles. I think it happens during survival somehow. Anyone tried this?

It has happened to me a few times, so I am guessing it is a reward of some sorts, but I dont know for what.

Have anyone else tried this, and do anyone know why this happens. Is it a reward or a glitch?

Are you at max shooting skill?

Because that's one of the few pointless perks you get for it.

Alleged improved reload speed. Better recoil control, by like 0.00000000001%. And you can carry almost 10k rounds of ammo.

Wow.

Isn't max shooting skill fun?

I had hoped max shooting skill would put my guy on par with the police and gang bangers. But it doesn't.

Im at max shooting skill. But I can only carry ~2000-2100 rounds for smgs and auto riffles? Can you carry 10.000 rounds for smgs and auto riffles permanently? If so what lvl are you.

When I get the ~9000 rounds of ammo, i cant pick up any ammo rounds before i get below the 2000 rounds again? So this is not a permanent thing.

This happened to me when i was using the mini gun in deathmatch, i died with it and when i spawned back i had 9000 bullets for my shotguns but the other weapons are the same, don't know way that happened, tried to recrate it, didn't work.

I think it goes up with your lvl.....im lvl 57 and have been able to buy 9000+ for some time

I never buy ammo - I just do a survival mission. Can you pick up ammo when you have above 2000 rounds? Or can you only get to 9000 by buying it?

When I run across a weapon clip with 2000 rounds in the bank I dont pick it up.

I had the same thingassumed I just picked them all up in survival mode

Yeah, so did I for the first few times.

Its probably a glitch. It could also be a reward of some sort, but I cant figure out for what.

I tend to use the advanced riffle for survival, and I have only received 9000 ammo for auto weapons, so it could be linked to something I did in survival: Headshots, kill/time, kill milestones etc.

I bought full ammo for every weapon I unlocked so far. Cost me hundreds of thousands. I believe the sniper rifle alone was over 100k.

This happened to me too, 9k+ rifle and 2-3k+ everything else. And yeah, pretty sure I nabbed it during a survival. I now keep my rifle smooth at 5k and everything else 1-2k. :)

Thats interesting Tymaster. Can you pick up ammo when you have above 2000 rounds, or do you have to buy it to get to 9999?
