The problem with LSC

The biggest con with LSC is that if, for example you buy 'Engine Upgrade #1' for $1000, then later you buy "Engine Upgrade #2' for $5000, it won't refund you the $1000 difference.

I know in real life this is how it would work, but in the game the whole point of being able to modify your cars again and again, shouldn't be that it will cost you in this way?

What's worse is buying an option, let's say a $3000 spoiler. And then decide you don't like the spoiler and try to take it off. You have to actually pay LS Customs to put your car back to stock. That's just ridiculous.

If it was progressive, then you'd only ever have one option, to buy the newest thing that became available.

With the current system, you have to do some cost-benefit analysis to decide which upgrades are worth purchasing now for the benefits they'll give you in the meantime, and which upgrades you're willing to not purchase at all until you've won quite a few more races.

Not that it's a decision everyone faces, since there's so many people who just boost the necessary wins.

Edit: You should have the parts you've purchased permanently unlocked for that vehicle. I don't see a reason not to.

Ya know what I hate? I buy a gun but I have to keep buying bullets for them. Shouldn't those be included?

True, but I still feel the system could be perfected a little more.

Changing paints is so expensive man. Especially pearlescent. If you don't get it right the first time you're up to 20k on paint for one car. Tire smoke is another thing

Test paint choices in story mode, either at Franklins or without saving. Takes time but saves money...
