Playing this game broke is so much better than having money. The money system is so broken/abused it's asinine to actually care about making money the right way. Plus when your broke it doesn't matter when you die cause you don't lose money, and you don't have to pay for insurance premiums when your blow someone's car up lol. And after you have all the cars/housing you want there's not much more incentive to play the game other than screwing around. Just food for thought....haha

Agreed mostly. I think it's fun because you're always chasing after the almighty dollar. It's what keeps the game interesting to me, making money is the main draw in GTA:O I feel.

 

Glitching money completely takes that sense of accomplishment away.

Yeah, I agree with you. I understand both sides as to wanting to glitch and making money quickly (ie. some people just don't want to take the time to play the game and grind for what you get), and playing the game how it was supposed to play, as when you buy something with hard earned cash there's a sense of accomplishment. I love the game regardless, I just find it more fun to work for the money and then blow it on a new car or something and soon as I get all the cash I need haha

Meh, I feel the same way, but I have millions in the bank. Millions in the bank means about the same amount of freedom you're experiencing.

 

I don't worry about dying, cause that $500 barely registers..

 

I don't try to blow up people's cars...but if I accidentally do it, same thing...I don't really feel the loss of money.

R* implemented the cash cards, meaning R* thinks having cash cards (which CAN be argued are similar to glitching $) are part of how the game is supposed to be played, at least from R*s perspective.

You can't but the trade off is someone who uses cash cards earned it because they paid money. I'm not saying GTA:O money is worth anything but glitchers didn't pay for their money or earn it in any right. That's basically what it boils down to. At the end of re day it doesn't really matter but the thing is even people who bought cash cards would still be strapped for cash eventually. While a mil is a lot, it can go very fast. We have people with 10 mil and more which really would never happen unless someone broke the bank.

You don't think rockstar has a little file keeping track of what players have purchased cash cards? I have no idea if rockstar will do anything to the glitchers though I suspect in time they will, but to think they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between those who purchased the cards and those who glitched is pretty naive.

 

On a sidenote, I'm encountering many less glitchers than I was a few weeks ago. Either they got bored and moved on or I'm having some good luck in public servers.

love to be able to change my rims/paint anytime i want a change of pace. (its college football today so i decided to change my pheonix to my school colors for the day, tomorrow I will change it back to how i had it before. would i have done that if i was broke nope? am i having fun doing that because i lsc glitched yep.

Blow up mad PVs when you got no cash. I play 100% legit no LSC glitch and I'm sitting on 150k. I don't ever play with no money anymore because I don't buy stuff anymore. I got a 10 car garage and some nice cars to race with. Once you got everything you want you'll get some money in your account.

I had money $20,000,000 given to me,at first it was awesome,I modded all my cars and maxed out ammo.But now I go into online and don't even bother doing missions so I just cruise around for bounties etc.Was definitely more fun when I was broke.

Actually it would be pretty easy to figure out, because on the social club page on the money percentage graph, in the green bar section where it says "Other" when R* gave us the 500k it showed up under the section. I also think those who use the cash card system that money will also show up in the category. It definitely doesn't qualify as shared money, job money, or betting money. As far as the cash card system people who use that are about as stupid as some people who I know irl who bought moves playing candy crush.

I keep my playing experience legit, I've been on here a month level 110. and I have 1.6 mill in the bank with 5 nice cars that are well earned. I don't see the need for glitching nor would I risk the health of my console by using modders tools which have been known to brick systems. My goal is to keep that bank balance never below a million. Same as managing money irl, don't live beyond your means. The game is good deff needs more to be added, but having 900 million in the bank is stupid, bc after it's all said and done R* is not going to add content to that level of spending, and if they do they will have to open up the BAWSAQ for online

Your first problem is trying to find a sense of accomplishment in a video game. Have you ever tried getting a job and making real money?

 

I glitch in this game because that's the best way for me to have fun. When I get back to the real world and can't "glitch" money, that's when I aim for that sense of accomplishment.

LSC Glitchers are just 'abusing a flaw in their system', as you put it. Do you consider what you're doing to be different in some way?

 

I don't - in fact, what you're doing is griefing, because you go out looking for people with the intention of disadvantaging them in a way that the game did not intend (by deliberately targeting their PV's while you can't pay the premiums, you're costing them money that they would not have spent without your involvement).

 

This is exactly the kind of behavior that Bad Sport was designed to isolate.

 

But I haven't seen a griefer yet who didn't try to justify themselves in some way - "I'm fighting glitchers!" "I'm getting revenge!" "I hate Chradders! (yeah I went there)" - it's all bullsh*t - griefers only like hitting when they can't be hit back, that simple. If they wanted a fair fight they'd be doing deathmatches.

I didnt do any glitches until they screwed me on mission payouts. So now I have a bank balance of just a lil over a million, I have a 10 car garage with all my favs, fully modded, in it. I wont glitch my way to billions or 10s of millions even, I have enough to not ever need to glitch again. I did have a space docker, sherrif suv and a fighter jet, but got of rid them because they were taking up space that my legit cars needed. I am comfortable with my situation in the game now and will not cheat again. Just because guilt gets to me I will buy cash cards when I get some money. I am having way more fun just offroading and flying my legit velum. I get in gunfights when theres an a-hole around asking for it, but I dont really do alot of money earning activities but I sometimes race and I occasionally do missions even tho I'm still angry about the payouts. I am having a blast with this game and I do regret cheating but I wouldn't be at this point of relaxed fun if I hadnt cheated.
