Pics:Randomly Generated Events in Online Play.

There appears to be the chance to witness a number of randomly generated events on GTA Online.

These may be a street race setting up with a some cars and people, gang fights, police chases, or even just random groups of people very out of the ordinary and even more complex events that you may get a chance to witness.

 

The most complex and surprising I have seen online, but was unable to photograph before I realized what was happening was:

 

Just S/SE of the Epsilon camp there is a dirt road/trial that leads up to a very obvious cliff and sheer drop-off. One of the highest cliffs in the Northern River Valley. I was circling the Epsilon camp in a Heli, just scoping out the landscape sometime just before sunset, as I made another pass out over the southern cliff I saw a police helicopter landed on this trail, then saw the two cop cars in front of it, effectively blocking any way off the cliff. A number of police holding the line, and a little closer towards the cliff was an old beat-up convertible. I was more interested in stealing the police heli than what was happening. But as I circled this new target I realized it was a last stand or stand-off. Completely AI based. and about my 2nd circle I saw the car peel-out and drive over the cliff to it's death!

I had not expected anything like this. It was pretty epic with the setting sun and the police stand off. I watched the car plummet to the valley floor and explode. But like I said, before I realized what was happening I missed the chance for a picture.

 

But I would like to see if anyone else has found any other random or easter-eggs events they were able to capture. I plan to keep my eyes open for more. And Love to see pictures of in game activities, so if you've got anything like this pictured post it here. Maybe just a little story of something you saw. Looking for legit events.

 

Looking for these generated events specifically. Not glitches or just weird stuff, but these types of events or groups.

 

The best example I have to offer is this picture I found of a Mariachi Band.

It was strange to come across, I had to take a picture.

 

So, have you seen anything unusual? Generated as an AI event?

No pic, but I just encountered an NPC having a phone conversation with Michael. Something about his stock portfolio. He said the name 'Michael' several times and I've never before heard NPCs refer to each other by name so I assume its meant to be a tie in to SP.

I heard a lady talking to her boss about sex in the office lol.. i know its irrelevant but i felt like it should be told

Once I saw a military convoy going down the highway near Ft Zancudo. Had a Barracks Semi with a loaded trailer in the middle, with 2 Canis Crusaders in Front and behind it, flanked on the sides by a pair of tanks. 100% AI done. Never saw anything like it before.

I've died numerous times trying to jack a jet from Zucado. You always respawn in the swamp just south of there. Once I actually looked around and saw two guys fishing. Never saw this before and I thought it was pretty cool. Very ironic to see sucha relaxing scene in such a chaotic game

That convertible-going-over-the-cliff thing is a reenactment of the final scene of the film Thelma and Louise. R* put it in there as a salute to the movie. There's also a reference like this one to No Country For Old Men, where you essentially play the role of Llewelyn Moss and steal the cash.

I just like walking around in solo mode just to see how much R* put into the game. There are a hell of a lot of conversations just between npc.

It's too bad people are so butthurt and complain about all this other stuff, and don't take time to notice the little things...

Yeah I spend a lot of time just watching the "world" in game. I also have MANY view-points in the game I go to and just have a smoke.

There is another event I saw that I'll try to take a picture of and post here. And elaborate on it more when I get the shot.

In GTA Online I drove up to a convenience store and there was a business woman blocking the sidewalk just standing still there. I honked the horn but she didn't move, so I carefully started pushing her with my car. She fell over and when she got up she pulled a gun on me and started shooting. She went inside the convenience store for some cover and was firing rounds like a maniac

Some may already know this one. Saw it, then had to research about it after figuring out the pattern.

10:30am every day FIB Agents escort some Scientists to the large satellite dishes to "check-up" on them.

It is easy to walk up and steal one of the vehicles with minimal resistance or police reaction. Just don't shoot before they do.

The trick is to NOT be right there before or AT 10:30am. Stay off at a distance equal to about the wind-farm (couple virtual-miles?)

These pictures were taken right after leaving the Ammunation in Sandy Shores at exactly 10:32am and racing over.

The vehicles will vary in combination.

 

 

 

Free FIB vehicles, replete with bells and whistles.

Yeah, there is little weird things you only have a split second to take pics of. A squad-mate and I were wandering around the carnage of our last deaths. Wrecked cars and abandoned cop cars. Then after a bit, random pedestrians hopped in the cops cars and took off, no time to take a picture, but it was strange!
