A solution to balance out passive mode in cars

As of now, we know that Rockstar doesn't prevent you from getting shot in passive mode if you're in your car.

 

The reason for this is because if they allowed that, then you could easily run people over while in passive mode, and people are unable to shoot you..

 

But what if Rockstar started giving out bad sport warnings for people in passive mode that KILL (not run over) other people with their cars WHILE they're in passive mode?

They could just do away with the entire passive mode thing. I've seen it used for its purpose maybe four times. Normally it's just used by some idiot who runs up and starts shooting a bunch of people, then respawns passive just to "jerk" on top of a crate or something--until somebody with a helicopter butchers him with the blades.

Better solution take out passive mode and add in "Play The sims Mode". Every copy of GTA gets a free download of the Sims for Pussys.

I've thought about this and I think a better solution would be to have a Friendly Fire OFF mode/option.

This mode is exactly the same as missions where you can use weapons, but they don't hurt other players. You can have shootouts with cops and use explosives but they won't affect anyone else.

 

-No friendly fire

-Explosives don't affect other player's vehicles

-You can shoot cops and npcs

-You can shoot other people's cars and blow out their tires and blow up their cars

 

I think this is the perfect solution. You can drive around and have fun in close proximity with other people without worrying about explosives blowing you up or people shooting you inside your car. It would be awesome to have a bunch of randoms working together in FR to fight off waves upon waves of cops on the train.

I think it works good enough right now, introducing more bad sport penalties isn't going to make it better.

No, even if your in a car in PM like this they could still sticky bomb you. And it would be abused.

It's easier than that. Just go back to the way GTA IV friendly fire OFF mode was. You could still kill people by running them over, but it takes ages to do. Just implement this in V when passive in enabled...problem solved
