I know a lot of people think it's unfair or cheating or shouldn't be possible and indeed I agree. But a few minutes ago someone dropped a 2 million dollar bounty on me, I'm watching Republican Space Rangers as we speak. At what point would you decide to hide instead of fight?

Where does the rule state that bounties need to fight?

 

Who cares what anyone thinks.. Its free roam. Feel free to roam where ever you want and not giving a flying f*ck what any bitch you have never met before thinks :D

2 million sounds pretty damn worthy to wait one out. Then again, I am as broke as a hobo right now and waited a 9k bounty in my apartment watching players wreak havoc on my tv. :lol:

That's not how it works. To claim the money for yourself you have to survive one in game day(48 minutes).

I will only hide if someone is actively trying to hunt me down on a large bounty. I only get bounties from NPC's and most of them are only $1000. If it is $5-9000 I will ride it out and collect the money for myself.

setting bounties on people is a good way to get them to stop playing for 48 minutes, i have come to realize.. well unless they have a tank, but that is a gamble as well.

If I have a bounty, I'll do whatever i feel like at the time. I had a $9000 bounty placed on me when I turned on the game yesterday, so I just went into invite-only session and did random stuff like collect a car for Simeon and such while i waited the time out. I tried to do the sit in the apartment thing but I got bored after about 15 minutes, especially since I had nothing to do around my real life apartment.

 

But saying someone should not sit out a bounty is just as bs as telling someone they should not kill you in free roam. Sure, I hate it when people just attack me for no reason, but I've pretty much come to expect it and try to avoid contact with another player as much as possible.

I've bought every worthwhile thing in the game and have 2 mil on my player right now, I'm not gonna go out of my way for an extra 2 million, which I can get in less time than it takes you to ride out the bounty.

Personally, I'd go and stand in the middle of the city and wait for someone to come and relieve me of their dirty sticking hacked money.

This is not about free aim. Im just pointing out the obvious.

 

That's its easier to avoid players who don't use auto aim. That was my point.

If I was poor I would on anything 500k+. Money is so hard to come by in this game legitimately. I mean 500k is hours and hours of gameplay... Better yet just join an invite only and go about your day.

than I must be f*ckin awesome XD

rode out a 9K bounty yesterday by just driving really fast

did return to my hideout to fix my car and had to scare of some1 camping my garage door but that took like 2 minutes

the rest was spent driving around and fighting with other players

 

anyway if it was millions I'd consider waiting it out

but I'd probably get bored pretty quick

hiding is just cheap lame and ineffective

no way 9k in 48 minutes is worth it,you'd be better of letting them kill you and rob stores for 48 minutes or something
