Of all the zombie games out there, this is the worst possible suggestion.

I'd like to see 'undead nightmare' in GTA V.

 

The Humane Research lab is a good trigger for it. Plus, the lab is on the coast. The outbreak could spread to the ocean and we'd have zombie sharks ! Survival could easily be modified for zombies, except players could 'clear out' strategic locations around Los Santos and Blaine County.

 

ALSO... It would be cool to modify our personal vehicles with spikes, chainsaws, mounted gun turrets etc in Los Santos Customs.

I've heard a lot of discussion about there being a zombies DLC for Grand Theft Auto V. People seem to be either strongly for it or strongly against it. The arguements for it usually tends to be; Rockstar Games will make massive amounts of money off of this, it would be great to have in the game, and there aren't zombie games like this, and with the switching characters option in this game it would create a new sense to zombie games. People against it argue that zombies are overused, it would ruin the game, and the fact that this isn't what the Grand Theft Auto franchise was made for. After watching this topic get tossed back and forth I can agree that it would add a lot to this game. This DLC would add so much to this game. I'm not one to say a basic game is a better game. A lot of things would work for this zombies DLC. When you play games like Call of Duty Zombies, Dead Rising, The Last of Us, and State of Decay there isn't exactly what you would need for it to be a good zombie game. Most of these are just shoot 'em up types of games or they are story lined based. As we all know, you don't have to follow a story in GTA, you can just roam around and do whatever our violent little gaming minds desire. If Rockstar were to add this as a DLC for Grand Theft Auto V the game would take a whole new turn and require strategy. From looking for a base to hide out in, scavanging for supplies, to just shooting zombies with your crew/ survival group, this would be amazing. There is also the argument of "Well they already made zombies for Red Dead Redemption. If you want zombies go play that." This is no different from saying, "If you like GTA go play Red Dead Redemption." They are two different games. GTA V is modern day city, while Red Dead is a western, lets ride horses kind of game. And again, this would be a DLC not some requred thing that zombies haters would have to download. All this would do is just add another section to the great game we all know and love.

If R* added Zombies I'd lose so much respect for them.

There are hundreds of better DLC's that could be created before stupid zombies.

 

There are heaps of games out there with zombies already in them. How many more games do you want to ruin before you satisfy your zombie fetish?

Nowadays I'd say yes. Cuz nothing can screw this game up worse than it already is. Shootouts are so ridiculously boring in V. I hardly use the huge variety of different guns. In gta 4 every gun has its purpose. With an army of zombies I have a reason to unload my thousands of bullets.

i thought it was sh*t myself and a wasted Opportunity to add some Good DLC To a Great Game.

 

we can only hope our crying to R* Will cause that effect i want CRIME seeing as the game is called Grand theft auto if you want a zombie Game well Play a zombie game its been beating to death in this Medium so its not like their are a lack Of Options for you .

 

i just pray what ever the DLC is its going to be as good As Episodes From LC it really showed R* Creativity and high quality Writing.

The Last of Us is a really good game. And yet, it came after all the many many other zombie based games. And it was better than all of them. Why?

 

Because they did it right. They didn't rush out a poorly judged zombies-by-numbers game. And yet, it was completely zombies-by-numbers. It was all in the way it was handled.

 

GTA is not TLOU. It simply cannot do it in the same way. But if they were to make it ridiculous, satirical and ultimately a lot of fun to play, there wouldn't be an issue. We've seen how well it can be done in RDR:UN, perhaps it could be done that well again.

 

Or maybe, just maybe, this zombie thing is just more bullsh*t.

All it takes is a minor mutation in the cordyceps to make it possible. It just needs to be transmittable to humans.

 

I suggest people give Plague Inc. a try - really fascinating to see how something like that could spread. Clue: fast, and horribly.

 

But back to the topic - I agree that zombies are over done, I really do. But as I said, if it's done right it could be a lot of fun.
