WBaker
People should be asking why is she so satanic instead of worrying about her dress sense. In fact every music video contains satanic messages and are very dark. Just Google 'lady gaga satanic'. I have known some fantastic Satanists. Don't knock the religion until you've actually checked it out. How about googling Anton Levay and the church of Satan?
Finn 7 five 11
she doesn't get "credit." she gets ATTENTION. big difference. I wish I could pass Lady Gaga on the street one day while she's wearing one of her ridiculous "look at me" outfits, surrounded by paparazzi and fans. I just wish I would see her doing this some time so that I could pick up a brick, walk up to her, and throw it at her ugly f*cking face. stupid cünt. This pretty much sums it up. I think Gaga continues to do this sh*t because now that she's had a few hit songs, she's run out of ideas/isn't producing anything nearly worthwhile, so she just walks around in stupid outfits to garner attention and move product. GrandMaster Smith
Because in a bland society full of clones seeing something(body) outside and beyond the norm excites the mind and creates interest. Slap a price tag on this idea and you become a millionaire.

theNGclan
She appears less often on celebrity news shows from what I remember. Her being "weird and different" is old news. Even if she wore a costume made of sacrificed babies, no f*cks would be given.
Brobinski
Yeah, didn't she see that nobody liked it when Bowie or Madonna did this sh*t? Moonshield

"Any publicity is good publicity" right. when people say that kids today are lazy and this generation sucks, that's basically why. no one has any shame. they just want to be famous for the sake of celebrity. any kind of attention is somehow good attention even though we're all just staring at a train wreck. Brobinski
There's a lot of assumption here that "Of course she doesn't have any talent but...". Now that I'm back from work, I have the time to inform you all of just how wrong you are.You might not like Lady Gaga, her songs, her costumes or even her pretentious and obnoxious attitudes towards the music industry and art in general, but damn, girl can sing with the best of them. No doubt. This is a woman who, as long as she has vocal chords, will be making bank in the music industry with her talent. I'm full of sh*t right? Wrong: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xD4ICwgZiBs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NmSJcWowjo Watch any of them really, they're all a good example of vocal talent, but the last one demonstrates why she has the staying power: versatility and her ability to play it all stripped back. sh*t, she's making a jazz album with Tony Bennett (see below). Not only is that a demonstration that she's not just craving attention (because, come on, that is not gonna chart extremely high) but that she's gonna be putting out stuff like that for forever. Also, the satanism jabs are pretty hilarious considering she's a devout catholic. But let's not let facts get in the way eh? And finally, in the way of her taking the easy way to publicity and "credit" or "fame" or whatever we're calling it today, her opening monologue for SNL just last night was pretty on point about how she doesn't just chase "easy" applause. But she IS overrated. And more than that, her talent is irrelevant because instead of flaunting that at us, she bombards us with all her stupid clothes and many other irritating things. El Dildo
girl can sing with the best of them. but who gives a sh*t. no one is actually denying that she has a nice voice. I don't care how well she can sing. it doesn't change the fact that the music itself is bland and forgettable despite being showered with phony accolades. her public behavior and image is absurd and it really serves as a negative influence to the people she claims are her fans. Smith John
Because why make good music when you can just do this to get attention. What in the actual f*ck!!! I don't give a sh*t if David Bowie, or Gary "Uncle Touchy" Glitter, or whoever engaged in this kind of behaviour in the past, it's this fruitcake type of sh*t that reminds me why I'm probably more rational than cynical towards this new generation. bash the fash m8s
