New GTA V Online Missions? (Nov 16 2013)

These are too closely correlated in terms of level and person to current missions to be anything new, in my opinion, sorry!

On another note, can I delete this topic? (sorry new here!)

Hey I was playing tonight and I got into a session all by myself and was invited to a strange mission. Then I found others by calling people in my phone. Then, after a bit, it all went back to normal old missions I'd seen before.

Anyone have any idea what these are? If I'm being a noob and these are well known please let me know!

Names:

 

Crewman Show

High Tide

Quarry Steal

Docks Shipment Steal

Blow in the Wind

Murietta Heist

I tried looking up all this missions, and I only found one vague reference to

Murietta Heist, here

.

 

And I would instantly fail the missions once I started them.

This happened to a few of us the other day. It's the servers bugging missions out, and not giving their correct title, and not adding the description (please dont ask why, i have no idea). For example, Dry docking was called 'dry dock steal' and as you said, every mission failed the moment you moved. It fixed itself after a few hours.

Have you also seen the descriptions or mission pictures given in the 2 missions I managed to get into? Are these from other missions?

 

Edit to add: When I started one of the missions it said something like "Go meet the Professionals", if I recall correctly.

In relation to the heist, I did find out there is a liquor store in the Murrieta Heights area that is able to be robbed. Maybe you just team up and rob it or some kind of store in the Murrieta area?

This happened to me too 2 days ago. Keps getting sent missions I hadn't heard of, and they would insta-fail once they started. It also caused Half of the start menu missions to not be listed. It seems the issue is when your system is connected to a working cloud but not connected to the R* game servers.

High tide and quarry steal are missions I have seen before. This "Murietta heist" mission sounds interesting.

I think what's clear is, that R* were tinkering about yesterday - this Heists glitch, the one I came across last night - being able to wander around the prison with no stars, and another that marco had in the army base with no stars etc..

 

Which is all good, as it means R* are moving on some decent DLC soon.

Yeah I've seen this before, but the ones I saw definitely weren't actually new missions they were alternate (earlier) names for existing missions that are popping up due to some server issue. Trying to launch the mission just resulted in it insta-failing so you couldn't play them at all.

 

Ballas Shipment Grab instead of Grab Your Ballas

Holed Up Vinewood instead of Holed Up Burton

Another name for Check Out Time

 

As you see a lot of the mission names sound like work in progress titles and the descriptions are a bit less flavourful than normal.

Quarry Steal is probably Quarry Quarry

Docks Shipment Grab is probably Dry Docking

Murietta Heist is probably just a misleading name for one of Simeon's repos (El Burro Heists probably)

 

HOWEVER, "Crewman Show" and "High Tide" sound like missions that aren't currently implemented. Having played all the missions I can think of none that match those descriptions plus the only Martin and Lester missions at Lvl 75 are Rooftop Rumble and Docks-to-Stocks II, which definitely don't fit those descriptions.

I just played crewman show today somehow, I know this is an old post but, bump, I had to go down into a metro tunnel guarded by police to escort some npc out. Would really like to see some other new missions.
