So 40 In real life minutes.

No it won't reset as far as I know, it will just pick up where it left off when you rejoin a session. Also missions/races won't pass the time.

Funny story for you while you wait, my friend actually taped his RT button down in GTAIV and got in a boat, hoping he would actually reach something after heading out to sea in the opposite direction for so long.

People have modded their PS3's to increase the multipliers of things like Bounties and Store robs(hackers). The max legit bounty is 9k.
