Crates and Special Crates not Dropping

I encounter this more often then I encounter them dropping....

"A crate is inbound" and the green circle appears but it's there for the entire time I'm online before I leave and it still hasn't dropped - Usually I'm only online for 30-45 mins but crates used to drop within a few minutes of them being inbound.

"A Special create will be dropped in 3 hours" - 12 Hours later that green circle is still there and no special crate. Sometimes it says a special crate is going to be dropped, and no green circle ever appears.

does this to me all the time. nobody was in the green circle before it appeared on the map.

 

sometimes its just a green circle until you leave session and other times they keep dropping crates back to back. in all the time ive logged into this game ive only seen one special crate drop. so this feature is bugged.

 

either way its not worth going across the map for 200 rp points and very little ammo.

the special crate is almost worthless as the weapon disappears and the special shirt tends to reset itself to a just plain grey t-shirt.

Strange, its happened to me when I was in the green circle.

 

Since the update I've hardly had any crate drops, but Ron still complains.

 

I had one earlier on but the crates location didn't show in map mode.

It's more to do with the game struggling to spawn enough assests in busy servers (like cop-cars magically disappearing when you shoot the driver, or cars despawning when you're about to climb in).

 

Crates can drop when you're inside the circle.

Crates can fail to drop without anybody being inside the circle.

 

But it does seem like crates are more likely to fail if you're inside the circle, so it's best to stay outside. Difficult to convince everyone else of that when you're dealing with special crates though.
