Ranking up in my crew

Can someone explain how this works? I tried to put the emblem on my clothing and it said I need to be 'rank 10 in my crew' or something.

You just play the game normally and your crew level will go up. It levels at the same speed as your character at its respective level, I think.

It follows with your Rp. My crew rank is one digit behind my level and seams to move up right along. If I switch to my second crew it's twenty levels behind.

How do I see my crew rank?

its shown on your character (character selection screen) in the bottom right corner,, theres your crew emblem then in tiny digits on the bottom right of your crew emblem is your rank.... you can also access it pretty easily through social club

I think your crew rank ranks up faster in crews... When I was about lvl 71, I was already lvl 67 in my crew (I joined the crew when I was lvl 17 I think) So it does follow how much RP you regularly gain, but in a crew, your crew rank goes up faster. Probably so that you can get the crew unlocks much faster.
