Merryweather Mesa

This ride Merryweather has will not show up after these two missions ever again. So get it while you can or never have it all. Your choice. This is just how I have spawned it to have all my three characters owning one.

How to get all three characters to have this rare ride an also how to spawn it over and over again to have your garages full if you love it that much.

Okay, so you can take this jeep that Merryweather drive after two storyline events.

The wrap up and the meltdown. I personally take the jeep in the meltdown mission as I take the Vacca at the wrap up mission. You can do whatever you like and only Michael can get the jeep.

So what I did was parked the jeep in my house garage. I completed the storyline and finished Lester's missions. I did not buy any properties through-out the storyline (I also don't buy any properties with side missions besides the sonar docks but it's only suggest side mission for you to do, not actually one they call up and need help for).

So I driving the Mesa with Michael. I purchased the golf course and after I driven the Mesa I took it home, parked in the house garage. I did not save or quicksave. I walked inside and Michael did the "Daddy's home bitches" and I switched characters to Franklin. I saved and waited until it was the middle of the day. Now, I switched back to Michael and he was in a cutscene at the place he abusing the guard (I think) and saying: "I don't know him, I work with him." So the camera turns around and the Merryweather Mesa is parked (usually it is a taxi) and I freaked out thinking if I don't drive this back to my house garage I will lose it for good. I drive to Michael's house and I see the Merryweather Mesa is in my garage already but I'm also in one? I thought WTF is going on here? So I end up driving to Franklin's location (switching characters until close to one another, use point of location if needed) and I get close to Franklin that I switch to Franklin. I run over to Michael and he gets out of the Mesa and says the lines; "Franklin, funny bumping into you here. Want to get a drink?" You can accept or decline. I turn the offer from Michael down and he walked off leaving the Mesa. I get in and drive it to Franklin's house garage. I park it and quicksave. I switch back to Michael, get a taxi and I go to his house. The Mesa is in his garage STILL. So I switch back to Franklin and sleep save my file. Loads up and both have the Mesa. I repeated this for Trevor as well. Note I driven the Mesa to the properties I purchased and did not save once I driven the car back to the house garage. I switched characters and SLEEP saved until it was middle if the day and switch to the player last driving the Mesa and it always was spawned but had the Mesa also in the characters house garages. I'm not sure if it works without purchasing the properties but I believe it might. I am currently doing the ten day kiflom outfit so I can't try do it yet.

This is also DIFFERENT to the hole scenes of when you switch players and they are driving a car you don't own and it spawns in there next current location when switching back as favourite car. I tried this but the Mesa was not in my garages when I did. So it might be a purchases property glitch or not. By the car switch I mean all you would do is be stealing the current Mesa the character driving is in, not double spawning it. You need to park it in the characters HOUSE garage I am sure and switch characters and sleep save. Switch to the last character you had in the Mesa (and parked in your HOUSE garage) and hopefully it's a scene that spawns with the Mesa and go check the house garage to see if it's double spawn. Might work? It did not work for me but I cannot remember if I parked it in the house garage or not before switching characters and sleep saving. I still got all three with this jeep and in the four slot garages now.

Without purchasing properties I would try: Drive the Mesa as Michael and then put it back in your HOUSE garage. Don't save, switch to Franklin or Trevor and save your game until it's daytime. Switch back to Michael and hopefully he is in the Mesa. Go drive back to Michael's house to check the Mesa has double spawned and if it has, bring the players together in order for the other player to take the spawned Mesa. This would also help you(if it works without property purchase) to double up on the Mesa incase you do lose it or want doubles/triples on a character.

It won't work if you park the Mesa in your four slot garage. After you got the Mesa on the character(s) you can store in your four slot garage.

Sorry if this has been posted but I thought it was something unique. This works for any of the players car's including there own usual cars (FC & the buffalo, MDS & the obey & TP and his pickup truck). Sorry for any typo's or incorrect wording. On my phone typing this, I hope it works for you if interested or not.

I have this vehicle, it's fantastic.

That was a really long description and doesn't sound anything like mine, so I want to detail how I was able to duplicate one vehicle.

Simple concept, and you need a closed garage (don't use the strip club parking spots because the car will simply get taken from the spot).

Have one character modify the vehicle you want to duplicate. This will mark it as their vehicle. Move person inside the vehicle to go meet up with one of your other characters. Switch drivers, handing it off to the other character.

So let's say Michael did the upgrades, you move Michael and Franklin close to each other. Michael gets out of the custom vehicle (I recommend putting the "owner" behind a wall so he doesn't run after the car), switch to Franklin and get in the vehicle.

Then you put the vehicle in that person's closed garage. What should happen after this is that the character who customized the vehicle and got it "stolen" by your other character will be able to retrieve it from the impound lot, fully customized as it was. Suddenly you have two!

I discovered this accidentally because I was moving cars around between characters' garages. Again, if you have Trevor take it and put it in the strip club spots, it will simply get taken and impounded, but closed garages will preserve the car while it ends up duplicated inside the impound garage.

For only $250 you get a second copy of the car. I'm pretty sure that customizing it before switching it to a new character is key, as the character it got "stolen" from put money into it and it is considered their property.

Thanks for sharing. Your way would also workout for any automobiles the players own if you wanted to swap/spawn doubles?

But how to get the car when you already did all the missions? How to get it spawn...???

Cuz when mission finishes, you return where you left off in SP?? And car always gone

You can only get it when playing the storyline. So if you finished the storyline you can't get this vehicle. You would have to start a new profile in order to have the vehicle, which I at the time did. As I mention in the storyline mission "The Wrap Up" you can get this vehicle but I choose to hide, blow up the helicopter and walk up the ramp to the Pegassi Vacca. I steal that, meet Trevor, drive it to Michael's four slot garage and save it inside. I choose to take the Merryweather Messa vehicle in the storyline mission; "The Meltdown" as I run outside, get into the vehicle parked close to the garage, reverse, drive into the house garage and sometimes it fails the mission for me as my family get's shot but when you retry the vehicle is saved in your house garage and another couple have spawned outside. If you wanted to place two inside Michael's house garage just repeat that option but I had my cabrio in the garage at the time and finding out how to re-spawn this car after the storyline (note: I mention I stole this vehicle in the two mission it's spawns) to give to all my characters + have doubles if I wanted too, helped me. Since if you lose this vehicle you can NOT get it ever again.

Likewise for the XF or Cheetah. When you play as cops and pull over the two drag racers you can take one of the vehicles you like (If you choose to drive as Michael he has the XF and Trevor has the Cheetah) to the LSC location, mod the car quickly (I put on cheap armor) and reverse out. I drive to Devin's autoshop, still win the race and I finish the storyline mission. I go to the repo garage and the car you picked to drive into LSC has spawned in the repo garage for you to pay $250.00 and have with a custom number plate. I did this with Michael to get the XF but my brother did it with Trevor to get the Cheetah. This also only works if you are doing the storyline over again not in reply missions.

I have one in story mode and online. It looks cool but performs horrible. They are really easy to get online. Send mercs to a friend player close to you and wait for it to come to you

agree with its poor handling. and its so light weight it rolls/flips/spins all the time. gets knocked around in races by other vehicles too easily. too bad cause it looks bada$$

but thats online, might be a fine vehicle for story mode

In SP it's similar. It's light, poor breaks and turns shocking if at a high speed. It does look badass and I read it's actually fun to take off-road but try not lose it in SP or make sure you got a back up file haha, she be gone if you lose it off-roading toooooooooo hardcore :p .

best way to have it spawn is to get somebody to call mercenaries on you, then kill the mercs and steal the mesa they drove.
