GTAO is the reason I'm not buying a PS4 yet.

Launch games all pale in comparison in offering the fun available in GTAO. Price isn't worth it. First launches are always less stable than later fixes.

 

I'm on PS3 until summer or later, or until a GTA or Metal Gear Solid is available on PS4... or maybe Dark Souls 2.

 

Feel free to disagree, but I have no interest in buying a new console just to play first person shooters.

I wouldn`t get one even if I had the money for it and it had insane inovatons. Never buy a new console. Wait for it to be beat up and massacred, and buy a newer model, that has fixed all the probles that the first model had. Sticking to my 360 and PC for now. Maybe I`ll pick up PS4 when GTA6 is a week away.

PS4s come out November 29 over here in Europe and I'll be getting one on Christmas. NBA 2K14 looks amazing and I'll be getting Killzone as well since it comes in the bundle, and I'll probably get either BF4 or COD Ghosts as well. GTAO, Madden and current-gen 2K will hold me over until then but I'll be keeping my PS3 anyway when I get next-gen just in case I ever feel the urge to go back and play GTA. I really hope we get it on PS4 though, would be nice.

I'll wait till the next version of PS4 to come out, I am more than content with my PS3. I gotta buy 4 (me, wife, and kids) of them for my household anyway so hopefully the price drops by then as well.

I considered pre-ordering a PS4 but after looking at launch titles i decided against it. None interest me enough to warrant dropping that kinda cash right now. I knew if i bought a PS4 at launch it would likely sit for around a year until something which interests me launches.

 

Plus there are always bugs & things to work out of new consoles, as well as developers not being able to really push the consoles limits off the bar.

 

Im having all sorts of fun with GTA:O and im sure there is still much more to come. We dont even have heists available yet. This game will keep me occupied for as long as new stuff keeps being released & the servers are up & running.

 

The only incentive which would get me to go buy a PS4 before next summer would be a whole new GTA game (not a port to PS4 of this game) launching and that simply wont happen.

well, I took mine off of preorder just because there wasn't anything interesting that I hadn't already played on pc yet... but I don't regret it because of how much I love this damn game. sure, there's work to be done, but for something as ambitious as it is, it's a damn good start (sorry to those of you who experience/d problems with the game itself, I know that sucks, but I haven't, so my experience has been titties.)

I may pick one up by Christmas, but the only game i'm really worried about getting into when it releases is destiny anyways. I fugn love bungie so much.

I dont think I'll ever get a PS4 with a required monthly subscription... I held out on Ps3 and only got one because Red Dead didnt come out for PC... Now that it seems GTA 5 is not out for PC I am glad I owned a PS3.... but all those launch games have been being beta tested in PC for months... and are just replicas of the older versions of themselves... in other words.. rushed sh*t that they made to look cool for 4th gen consoles.

 

The PS 4 is not up to specs with my current PC.... so If i take the money I would spend on a PS 4 and just buy new computer hardware... I could have a PC with the capabilities of the PS 5 here by Christmas... the only game that sounds somewhat cool is the witcher 3 or 4.... dont know which one they are on but it looks good... but I know that sh*t is comming out of PC and anything on PC is 1000 times better then console.
