Anyone knows where those light textures are located?

Is it possible to mod those distant street lights? I want to change their colors to orange instead of yellow.

The distant lights and cars are controlled in a distantlights.dat file

pc/data/paths

 

Models and textures for the distant cars are located in:

pc/data/maps/props/lev_des/icons.img

Thanks, any idea how to edit the file (notepad++ doesn't work) / change the lights color?

File is binary, so ofcourse you cannot change the color with notepad++ or any other text editing tool.

 

I just installed 010 editor which edits hex values, but i cannot tind the matching RGB color digits in the file - you can look for it yourself... i think dissassembly and hex edit is the only way for this.
