Downgraded from top floor Alta street apt. to 6 car garage in the dese

does anyone know which garages have TV's? is it only in the 10 car garages? has anyone else done the same thing?

 

i wish R* would add some properties up north for people who hate the city.

Yeah, I think it is kind of bull crap that there isn't a single apartment in the desert.

It feels so strange having my biker dude living in Weazel Plaza. I'm thinking of downgrading simply because the only reason I got it was for heists and they STILL don't have heists out.

I don't know how they would make apartments work out in blaine county, but I'm sure they could make interiors for some of the houses randomly placed out there. In fact I think that would be better. I thought it was awesome having houses out in the woods in San Andreas.

It'd add something for newer players, too. Someone else here brought up an idea about being able to rent out a hotel room in Sandy Shores for say, $50 per day, something like that. If nothing else, R* could always just use the interiors for Franklin's and Trevor's homes as 'new' houses in online mode. Maybe somewhere down the line.

I have the top Alta st apartment, it's great! Why would you move? It's actually the most central downtown location you can get and the view is pretty good!

 

If I want to get to Sandy Beach in a hurry I just go the airport and fly there!

I had a 6 car garage near Zancudo but upgraded to Alta Street. I really miss my old place which was nearer to Ammunation, 1 minute to pay and spray and 1 minute to the airfield.

 

Plus there was never anyone waithing outside my apartment to pop me.

 

Would love to see some 10 car houses up North.

This is a big one with me. There isn't a single 10-car garage anywhere north of Eclipse Towers. I would happily move out of an apartment in favor of a 10-car garage out in Blaine County or Sandy Shores.

I realized that I wasn't getting anything out of my $200,000 apartment. It took too long to walk upstairs after getting out of the shower just to go outside, I never watched TV, etc. The first thing I do when I start a new session is get a Buzzard, so I downgraded to the 10 car garage that's closest to the airport. It now takes me about 30 seconds before I can start flying around.

Yeah. I do like Alta St. Location is great, but I would trade it all for a homestead in the sticks.

 

Storage garages in the city is the way forward.

Apt 70 at Weazel Plaza has the best view (beach), best exterior garage (you can come in from 3 different roads), and it's fairly close to the Mod Shop.

This apartment not only has views of the beach and ocean, but also veiws of the mountains, the city and the VINEWOOD sign. It also has direct access to the highway and has multiple garage exit/entry points.

If they ever allowed us auxiliary garages, I would gladly take a scumhole out in Blaine County and just keep a 10 car in LS. I really doubt that the current apartment set up is R*'s "end game". The fact that the view is the only differing factor in all the high end apartments leads me to believe that the system was rushed to get online mode out for Oct. 1st. As long as they don't abandon cash cards in favor of fixed DLC prices, I don't doubt that new apartment types/locations would be a push for them to sell more cash cards. The challenge is for them to either completely negate any money glitches or add more value to the cards.

i almost bought that garage, but decided on the one closer to the airstrip..... did it have a TV?

 

that's the main thing i miss. i liked the option to watch what everyone was doing.

All the apt's have t.v.s, think the 2and 10 car apts have bongs. I have a 6 car apt and it only has tv and some booze.
