The best place to escape police in the countryside (while driving) is the railway, cops on cars won't chase you there, and choppers soon gave up chase.

I had no idea there was a subway station in Morningwood wow is it obscure... I mean the structure is not hidden, it's just not even remotely marked at all. I must have driven past it 1000 times and never noticed it was a station entrance lol

 

the subway stations in this game are really good too so much fun to have shootouts in them... a pity they are so poorly utilized.

 

next time I play the game, I'm going to make a serious effort to always use them to escape cops on foot.... I think I could come some pretty awesome stories and events happening in there

You can take off Michael's Big Score Security outfit helmet by putting it on and using the Interaction Menu to put on a mask and taking it off. Will edit the picture in later. Currently busy spawning a Hearse for other forumers

- For those interested in the military aspect of this game, the reason why this particular Soldier model is the one to chase you around Ft. Zancudo in and around it's perimeter is because if you check his patches, they're based after the 16th Military Police Brigade, meaning that you are actually chased by Military Policemen, the 16th Brigade is also the only Airbone qualified MP brigade in the US army, as to why the Airbone medals and patches.

 

 

- Just like IV, most of the pedestrian audio is synced with hand gestures. Here she's trying to speak me out of the store because I had a wanted level (Online).

 

 

- The front porch of Ortega's trailer can actually be totalled during freeroam or any other point of the game.

 

 

- During any random day mostly around afternoon you can spot a mechanic fixing a broken down car at the eastern end of Route 68 near the prision.

 

 

- Containers can be picked up with the Dock handler in freeroam if alined properly, all you have to do is press the right arrow.

 

 

 

- When you shoot someone once in any non vital area, they will slowly begin to bleed to the point where they will drop any primary weapon (Assault rifles, shotguns) and will unholster a secondary (Mainly the Pistol) while holding their chest in pain, their facial expression will change and If standing still and there are no obstructions around, they will begin to drop in a special animation while begging for help ultimately leading to their usual last stand mode.

 

 

- You can usually find labouring mexican women cleaning the glass at the entrance of the amphithreaters in vinewood with a rag.

 

 

- Shooting barrels or red cans can usually lead to them leaking oil/petrol.

 

 

- Some bus stops around the city can effectively be damaged.

 

 

- While sitting pedestrians can also cough.

 

 

- After escaping from the FIB building in the Fire crew option for the Bereu Raid, if you go to Lester's warehouse you can see it's actually burning just like it is during the Rooftop option.

 

 

- Things you should note about the Prison in general.

 

1): Snipers once provoked they will attack no matter what, even if you already got rid of your wanted level, you can also kill all of them and they will not respawn until you completely leavy the prison premises.

 

2): There are around 8 to 9 towers in the prison.

 

3): Inmates will instantly attack you if they even make eye contact with you.

 

4): Judging by their patches, Correctional officers inside of Bolingbroke are all considered state-wide peace officers.

 

5): You can hear nightmare inducing screams from block 9A in the south part of the prison, this can easily go unnoticed due to the fact the dynamic score plays and the gunfire that comes from the correctional officers and police.

 

6): The prison bus has a G6 logo at each side on the front.

 

 

- This is the only GTA to actually feature Coast Guard Seamen, an ironic thing in this is the lack of CG boats, seeing that previous games had CG vehicles and no peds.

 

- Alternative dialogue reveals Dave brough Michael to the Coroner himself.

 

- Almost every pedestrian that is considered a law enforcer has a nightstick in their inventory.

 

- Most of the LS departments and services reach to Blaine County.

 

- It is implied that the L.S.P.D has their own N.O.o.S.E branch, a possible explanation as to why the Police Riot says LSPD and NOOSE at the same time.

 

- The LSFD was founded in 1888, a year before the LS County was actually founded.

 

- Police officers have lines for the next situations during wanted levels and such.

 

1): Suspect on foot, in pursuit.

2): Suspect on foot heading 'X' (North, West, South, East) direction.

3): Suspect has a firearm (Will call the Minigun, RPG and Grenade launcher by their respective names, or will call others to fallback)

4): (Four stars reached) Request for N.O.o.S.E to be called.

5): (Megaphone) Suspect has flipped vehicle.

6): Officer withdraws firearm.

7): Officer down.

8): Suspect spotted.

9): Lost Visual on the suspect.

- Police officers are actually able to give simple orders, an officer will ask others if ready, if they reply that they are then the officer will tell them to advance and attack the player.

Michael's cop outfit can be obtained if you use hazard's save editor, just look at the ''how to change your character model'' thread. The crane can also be found around Elysian island and Terminal.

Do you know if the same trick works with the highway patrol outfit? If there's one outfit I'd love to get rid of the helmet on it's that one, it looks ridiculous imo.

But sadly it doesn't save when you 'load'....

 

like if you switch characters, you can lose it because it's not a normal outfit that you can equip the normal way... when you switch back you can be wearing the default gray suit

 

it happens all the time if you try to Hangout with out... I like to dress up M and T in masks or outfits when they Hangout and go cause trouble, but if you put M in the hat-less police or securicar outfit, he'll always just default to the gray suit when you try pick him up as T

last night I was doing the Hen House property delivery mission and as I was going from the overpass onto the on-ramp for the Senora freeway, I bump a car just a little bit. he's in a Saddler and looks like a labourer, and those guys get 'angry' pretty easy.

 

i'm in the booze truck so he catches up to me pretty fast and he rear ends me hard (i'm still full speed), he flies through his front window, and dies

 

ok i've seent his before. it's hilarious when they kill themselves like that.

 

but by some stupid chance, there is a highway patrol car RIGHT BESIDE US on the side of the highway when this happens

 

and ME the innocent driver I get TWO STARS for 'killing the civilian' =/

 

needless to say I completely had my property mission trashed cuz that property mission is pretty hard (even a perfect full speed usually only leaves you with 30 seconds left) and because I have a 'never fail/never die' rule, I had to reset my game and lose an hour's playtime lol

 

all because the cops went after me because someone attacked my car and killed themselves

Shooting down a police helicopter will earn you a four star wanted level, so it's often wiser to wait for a persuing helicopter to refuel, rather than shoot it down and have to deal with two that don't go away.
