Cool Things You Didn't Know About: V Edition

People actually still grab onto your car, pick a fight with someone then get into a fast car pretty quickly. Then drive whilst thwyvw got their hand on the door handle, then drive off, and theyll cling on as long as you don't go too fast. Once I ran over a ped and she grabbed my spoiler, and she hung on for a while, which was pretty cool. It was the big GT wing on a super fast comet

There's some other cool stuff to know about the Comet's big spoiler. I've managed to do a some sort of wheelie with the Comet when a lamp post fell between the spoiler and the rear window and i accelerated at the same time. Too much power and sudden weight increase on the back caused the Comet's front end to rise and made the car flip backwards on it's roof. it was pretty funny, especially when i was not expecting that to happen

 

Another thing with the GT wing is that it's wider than the Comet itself. So if you drive too close to a wall, lamp post, tree etc. the spoiler may hit that object (even tho the rest of the car passes it nicely) making your car probably oversteer.

 

Even tho i would like to have my Comet spoilerless, the big-ass wing is kinda cool

A couple days ago i hit a woman in Tevor's Bhodi and she went through the windshield and got stuck in the passenger seat. I didn't even a kilometer before it completely glitched out and the truck flew into the air, did a few flips and the woman flew out.

 

And there's a glitch with sending people hunting pics. Nearly all the dead people will reply, though only with generic replies like "WTF Trevor" or "dude, seriously".

 

 

I've had get hit so hard by a truck on the highway that they bounced into the Bodhi and then ended up in the back of the truck lol.... Pretty sure I've had someone dead in the back of another truck, maybe an El Camino or whatever it's called but I forget when and how. Also I love when you steal a police boat and you got 2-3 cops bouncing around in the back as you drive over waves haha.

 

I think I've seen that glitch before with dead people on Trevor's Contact List but the weird thing is Beverely is not even a Trevor Contact... only Franklin ever knows or meets him So I never even messaged his phone # or anything. I think it was Ursala (or was T's g/f and not dead) that I messaged when Beverely replied haha. I'll try play around with it more... I think over the last year I've probably messaged a dead animal pic to every single contact at least 2 or 3 times and never seen Beverly replied before

 

 

Little thing with a random event I saw the other day. There's that one where a thief steals a bike and you have to get it back. Normally he says something like "thief stole my bike" or something generic and expected. Well, I've been ignoring this event because I wanted to do with with Trevor. And the last time I went by it, the guy actually seemed to change what he said and said "man, you stole my bike again" or something like that. I didn't hear it clearly and maybe it's just coincidence (maybe he can say that the 1st time you ever see the event?) but he clearly was suggesting that the thief has stole his bike before and is now stealing it again hehe.

 

 

I was doing Franklin's taxi missions and I did the jewel theft one, and I heard a new thing for the first time. I lost the cops 100% perfectly fast, so they never once saw me... every time I've ever done that before (maybe 6-7 times now) there is always a cop already approaching Franklin as the guy runs out. This time there wasn't though, and instead of just saying something general when I lost my stars, he said "wow you really blew those guys away" or 'left them in the dust' or something, and also 'they really sent their best!' ... not really surprising, a lot of missions have different conversations depending on how fast/poorly you complete them. I just hadn't heard that one before and thought it was kinda cool.

I don't know if this was a glitch or something but I was playing Single Player and stole a Bus (City Bus) and I was driving around Downtown, Los Santos and something caught my eye. The "route" above the front window of the bus displayed on a screen read - Downtown

 

I thought cool? I then drove up to Vinewood Hills and I decided to check out the "route" display again and it read - Vinewood Hills

 

The details in this game man... I never knew it did that.

lots of small stuff like that. the moon changes shape based on the calender... like, there are days to the week and the moon changes shape based on that calender

 

i've never bothered to check to see if there's any cycle to weather or if it's just random...

 

i should do that, plot out the moon shape and weather to a calender based on the in-game days, and see if there's any trends, should be easy enough

At this stage in the life of GtaV, I think there should be a "pinned" topic similar to this one, but it should be about fun unmarked activities to do (preferably offlIne).

 

 

If everyone would get creative, and post the unique fun things they come up with, this game would get a major breath of life.

 

Just imagine how exciting it would be if there was already a pinned topic like that with thousands of replies.. .

 

Don't get me wrong, this is a great topic and all, but me personally I am more interested in "fun things to do" than "stuff I didn't know about"...

I completely agree with you, there was like a topic created almost weekly about fun things to do offline, yet they always got locked or something, because there were too many, surely its make sense for a pinned cool things to do topic, in which people can add to, whenever they find something fun/cool

If you play the mission "Chop" Franklin will make fun of Lamar and his friends stealing gas tankers. This is a refrence to the three missions in GTA Online where you have to steal gas tankers for Lamar.

yeah that's cool. i like when Lester references GTAO too (and I know everyone knows this now) but it's funny because I really like Michael's expression when Lester says "nah too unpredictable" his face makes a funny sort of 'huh' that's very well acted

 

Lester has so many details based on the Kelso character from Heat... I mean the job, house and the sattelite dishes,, and wheel chair are most obvious and of course the clothes... but even the proximity to the highway. if you watch Heat close, there are 2 main backgrounds to that scene, one with the house and one with the freeway, and Rockstar placed Lester's house perfectly between the oil derricks and freeway so you can see those exact 2 same backgrounds when you visit Lester's house

This sounds VERY similar to something that was leaked before release, and i cant find any leak or anything because its most likely buried deep within the subforums of the V section... Makes me sad that i cant find it.

Think of this though:

I believe if there was a topic like that pinned, just by seeing that topic pinned everyday would grow in our subconscious minds to be on the look out for fun stuff to do, and making posts. Also it could remind us of fun stuff we already know to do.

 

I bet all of us have our own common and unique things to do for fun already. There just never was a thread that contains it all.

I was flying it under the area where the Richards majestic building is and I noticed something I've never seen before. Under the building, you could see an E on the bottom of the building. Does any other buildings have the same letter?

Trevor will stand outside the trailer with Madrazo's wife staring romantically at the sunset. You can view this as Michael or Franklin.

 

Now, I once switched away from Trevor while he was underwater and went to the trailer. There he was, looking all romantic still wearing his rebreather. Truly freaky.

Characters are very glitchy around one another.

 

99% of my game crashes or freezes are when 2 characters are close to one another, 1 somehow has a scene, acting, voice work, and I switch. If it's before or after Hanging Out, it's fine. But, if you just randomly meet, they'll talk or sometimes act. If you meet at Trevor's trailer, there's usually some talking or acting going on. If you try switch between the 2 characters then, it probably crashes at least 20% of the time. In the last few weeks my game has frozen at least 6 or 7 times when doing that.

 

It'll often create multiple Patricias... warp characters around, like T should be in Grapeseed (you were 2 seconds ago) but you switch to M in the trailer and suddenly T is taking a dump in the bathroom, and when you try switch back to T, it goes to Grapeseed, acts a bit buggy, and then you appear in the bathroom.

 

I spend a lot of time free roaming during 'Exile' because it's my favorite part of the game but the characters become very very glitchy around one another

It wasn't the normal Epsilon logo though. Just a basic E in a circle, on the bottom of the building.

This is on both online and singleplayer, i managed to do some cool things with the Lazer too such as land on the top of Maze Bank without damage the jet and do a back take-off with it, on the Maze Bank it's easy to and it's way more cool.
