I know this is an Old Post but considering the fact that we have a whole new generation of players and members I thought why not share.

this is only two of many Easter eggs that are found in the game...

http://gtaforums.com/topic/654457-jack-howitzer-possible-mash-reference/

There used to be a whole thread listing a lot of the Easter eggs found in the game but I can't seem to locate it

Believe it or not, but it's been reported that this game's internet has more sites than North Korea.

The game has 83 sites to browse while the country's population can only browse 28 sites.

If you manage to get on top of the cable car, you will get a 2 star wanted level.

Also cable car is going to stop moving the moment you get top of it.

If you miss the cable car and then think jumping on it, I can assure you this is not a good idea.

In the mission Meltdown; on the red carpet there's movie mogul type guy talking on his phone with a black screen. Fair enough, why model a phone screen for a small set piece? But if you bring up Mike's phone and go on any random page/app, the display on the guy's phone will change to whatever Mike's phone is showing. Not sure if it works for pedestrians playing on their phone outside of this mission, I can also recall this happening in GTA IV.

When you talk on your phone, it's screen normally turns off and blocks so you won't accidentally press a button with your cheek. And yeah, that's a tech limitation, all the phones in the game share the screen contents. Not only did they do it in IV as well, they also had the same ringtone too.

i think i checked it in V 1 year ago, and they didn´t had the players screen

Not entirely true about the ringtones in IV, I hear plenty of variety on the streets around LC. But yeah, clearly the phone screen quirk is to save a bit of RAM for something more important.

GTA V actually have some kind of outerespace. We can use mods to break all the limits of the map. Here is quick look how it looks:

I just found out a probably very obvious thing, but if you aim at someone unarmed you can intimidate them, do this long enough and they'll either get aggressive or run away. Also another thing I found out was when I shot at the roof of the gun course, I got a wanted level and had to leave Ammu-Nation ( can't have too bad aim I guess).

- if you start a game of Golf and later cancel it/exit it, the world time will stay freezed (since when playing Golf, the game freezes the time). Havent really tried this with Tennis or other minigame for that matter though.

- right under the pier at Vespucci beach, theres a small wooden path that circles the whole structure. You can climb up in a spot where it starts right besides the wooden stairs that leads to the beach.

I've noticed this a while ago, but there is a jacket very similar to Leon's in RE6 when shopping at Suburban with Trevor

Sometimes you can get electrocuted while climbing onto transformers or coming into contact with electrical boxes.

This is a trick I found myself while fu*king around.

You can make 2 protagonists sit in a car next to eachother without going to hang out. You(as the passenger) can shoot other cars while the other protagonist drives you around. To do this one of the protagonists should have a car. You walk to him. He gets out and asks you for a hangout. You decline. So after that he walks up to his car(you need to move him away from his car a bit so you have more time) as he is entering his car, you enter too. If you open the door at the same time this works.

If you mess with the LCN early in the game as Michael, Amanda will mention it during "The Good Husband"

Yep, and many of the pre-old-gen screenshots were directly from the PC version, sporting DirectX 11 effect features that were not possible, even on devkits, on the old consoles. Bokeh Depth of Field is one that stands out often in them, impossible on xbox 360 and ps3. But not only that, higher textures, much higher resolution players that only exist in the newgen and PC versions of releases, but were around before old gen for screenshots at least.

Seems like R*'s programmers have no clue how to block them in SP. ;)

looks like you challanged them...

If you use a trainer to allow multiplayer weapons in singleplayer, you can actually kill pedestrians and cops with snowballs. However, chop's ball appears to have to effect what so ever.

FadeAway

Parachuting or climbing on a roof around Chamberlain Hills, pissing off the gangs and calling the police on them and watch a brawl happen and getting rid of 1 star (if any). In the desert on the hospital parking lot, verbally fighting with people and have the policewoman shoot them and then seeing the dog attack her afterwards. It's the little things, you know? So much fun. Getting stars for walking passed someone or looking at them grants a police phone call especially playing as Trevor and in the city.

TIL that the Stallion has a commercial on the KChat Radio Station in Vice City, together with a beta vehicle named Maibatsu Thunder

While it should probably be posted to the Vice City threads, the Stallion is also in GTA V - and the commercial still doesn't change how we look at it :santa:

You actually create more noise when your character starts breathing heavily when you sprint for a while. I noticed it on the radar.
